Can someone tell me what the hell is going on here ?
Where are the police standing by doing nothing and watching someone being attacked and threatened ? Note the guy with the hammer ? He can be charged with assault with a weapon .
You are right. We are more concerned with the future of MCA. Don't waste time on other issues. Think how we can outdo the LTL Faction and the cry babies who have the support of external forces, Godfathers, WC, TKS,.....
Godfather said there is definitely an election. Looks like he knows better than all us. Don't tell me the CC members are now under the control of Godfather.
Can someone here give the real figures of MCA divisions , no of valid branches and actual members before end of this year. This figures is important because MCA must shows its strength and to avoid phantom members/branches for the sake of GUP. The Chinese Chambers Presidents should sound co-operate with MCA if they have a little respect to the MCA President, William Cheng mind his biz now and to earn more $$$$ to cover his TNB debt, chinese politic is nothing concern with him.
Now the PKFZ is broken out, William Cheng is finding a place to stick his stupid face. His buddy Tiong may be the next one in the slammer and treated like a common criminal.
Why was this MAN being assaulted right in the very EYES of a few Policemen? The Police should RIGHTLY PROTECT him but instead allow him to be beated up! Wah, Malaysia really BOLEH.
Let this be a WARNING to all TOURISTS to Malaysia, especially SINGAPOREANS who look like Msians and form the largest VISITORS to Msia. You WON'T be Protected by the MEN in Blue.
Please dont' call a deer a horse! They are not the same.
That criminal was one of the robbers who used to prey on senior citizens who jog in the areas.
On that unlucky day they are were cornered by members of the public....The men who assaulted that criminal were gangs who were called to trace/catch criminals.
But they took law into their hands, and our Policemen also gave 'chance' for the public to assault the criminal....
Had anybody reported the matter to their superiors, these Policemen surely would face disciplinary actions!
Legally criminals also have their rights, but we tend to excuse ourselves and take laws unto our hands....This is wrong, especially when the crimes committed are less severe than the punishment ordered (by the public) for them.
Every action of ours must be proportionate and reasonable. Surely the man who used the HAMMER to asault/hurt the criminal is condemnable....But I was surprised that the Policemen there suddenly forgot their duties....
"You must be out of your freaking mind to say this. No wonder the streets are full of criminals...."
You might have overlooked the rich info in the webs on the rights of suspects and criminals, b4 you posted the above comments.
I merely stated the legal principles applicable as at today on the above rights...; they are NOT my views/suggestions/official stand on the matter....
In the UK, the DPP stated:
“…It confirms our commitment to internationally agreed standards of probity, fairness, openness and accountability in our dealings with others, whether they are victims, defendants or other criminal justice legal professionals." (Keir Starmer QC, the Director of Public Prosecutions,U.K.3 Nov 09)
Even in China now these rights are complied with:
"Criminals have the right to protection against assault on their human dignity or personal safety under all circumstances....
http://www.china.org.cn/e-white/criminal/8-3.htm
Individual support for the crimes committed by those hooligans who took laws unto their hands is personal. I have no comment.
Another eg. Someone asked this:
Why do liberals stand up for the rights of criminals but not for the rights of babies?
And the answersgiven by the liberals :
(a) Because unlike the unborn, criminals still do have rights.
(b) We assume people are innocent before trial, YOU people on the right assume people are guilty based on George Bush's hunch.
Try this in George Bushe's homestate - Texas. Texas has a low crime rate. You know why - carrying a gun and using it for self protection is legal in Texas. No one in Texas would want to mug an old lady. She might just shoot you with her gun. I have walked in alleys in Texas at night without being fearful.
George Bush cowboy law works where crime is concerned. I do not mind George Bush approach in this case.

"Legally criminals also have their rights..."
ReplyDeleteYou must be out of your freaking mind to say this. No wonder the streets are full of criminals.
1. How can criminals be legal?
2. Criminals seem to have more rights. The more money they have the more immunity they seemed to get.
3. As for the scums in the street. They do not deserve to live. I support the action in the video clip.
