Najib's headache, Tee Keat's heartache

from Rocky's Bru

Original Article:

Circus. Chess. Curse. That the BN chairman and Prime Minister Najib Razak hasn't uttered a word in public about the latest MCA drama suggests that he's tired with or deeply hurt by the antics of the jokers in this political circus. Like many, he'd probably thought that the party's AGM would heal the scars and bring the factions together. For a while, the political headaches and heartaches belonged to the Pakatan Rakyat as Anwar Ibrahim's PKR grappled with defections in recent weeks.

Then, suddenly, just days before the AGM, Chua Soi Lek decided to quit his deputy president post to check-mate the "unity" plan that had brought him and party president Ong Tee Keat together for the last few months.

Tee Keat may have felt like Caeser, betrayed by his own subordinates, but unlike Ceaser he's alive, unfortunately, and he's still the President of the party and, therefore, he has a job to do.

AGM and then fresh elections. Firstly, he needs to fulfill the leadership's earlier commitment to hold the AGM and prepares members for fresh elections (now scheduled for March 28). There are those who do not wish Tee Keat to hold the AGM for fear that it may provide him with a platform to address the delegates but then he is the President. NOT holding the AGM would be a dereliction of duty, and there's nothing worse than that.

In any case, the women's wing of the party has convened their AGM today (against a directive of it's chief Chew Mei Fun, it seems!) and there is no reason why Tee Keat should not hold the AGM as scheduled.
Curse of the PKFZ. Secondly (and more importantly at least for people like me), as Transport Minister and the man who said he would deliver justice in the Port Klang Free Zone fiasco, Tee Keat must remain focused. The turmoil within MCA must not distract or deter him. I know he's been under great pressure since his pledge to expose those responsible for the billions lost in PKFZ.

His days at MCA's helm may be numbered but as I see it Tee Keat may be President of MCA for the another 20 years but it would do him little good if he fails to help bring to book the culprits (including some MCA politicians from what I've heard) behind the PKFZ.

So, as I see it, Tee Keat can fight to stay on as president of the MCA or Liow Teong Lay can take him or Chua Soi Lek or both on 28th March. The important thing is will MCA emerge stronger after that and will Tee Keat be able to finish what he sets out to do at PKFZ?

  1. JOHOR BARU: Former MCA deputy president Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek hopes party secretary-general Datuk Wong Foon Meng will conduct the fresh party polls in a professional manner.
He said Wong was accountable to all MCA members and not just one person in the party.
Dr Chua had earlier lambasted Wong for being irresponsible and unprofessional, after Wong lashed out at central committee members who resigned from their posts, saying the timing had upset the party’s annual general meeting (AGM).
“As chairman of the re-election committee, I have been receiving resignation letters since January. On March 3, I received seven more and together with mine, it touched eight,” Dr Chua said.
“I called Datuk Seri Dr Ng Yen Yen but she was overseas and said she would hand over her letter when she returned,” he added.
Dr Chua said he was only doing his job in announcing that the target of 21 resignations was reached.
“I did not choose the date. As such, the accusations from the secretary-general are unfounded and uncalled for,” he told reporters after meeting with about 150 MCA delegates from nine divisions here yesterday.
On whether he would be going for the top post or even contesting in the polls, Dr Chua said, “I do not know yet.”
He said his meeting in Johor was mainly to inform delegates about the turn of events and also why the 21 central committee members had resigned.
“You must understand that an elected central committee member who holds a government post will not resign for simple reasons. There must be issues of concern that would have caused them to resign,” Dr Chua added.

    Dr Chua,
It is a lame statement and there is no excuse on your behavior. The people are not fools, everybody know you are behind the eight resignations and it is your plan to disrupt the AGM to embarrass OTK at a very high risk of getting MCA de-register. You bastard are gambling with MCA future, thats the facts. Stop you lying and repent......

  2. There isn't exactly many options left for OTK:

    1. Fight on as the MCA prez.

1A* Another win in MCA may not mean anything, as arm no will not give OTK any leeway in disclosing the PKFZ deal.

1B* Loss and will be laugh off the stage, by WKS and his arm no bosses.

    2. Leave MCA and join the PR.

That's about all the options left for OTK right now.

  3. OTK must stay and fight. If cannot win then execute a scorched earth strategy. "Burn" MCA to the ground if needed. At least MCA die with honour. DO not leave anything for the buzzards.

  4. Be careful !

A scorched earth strategy may mean more than MCA.

Remember what happened to that Mongolian lady?

Yes my man. This is THE MALAYSIA we are talking about !

Are you ready for OTK and many more Chinese to pay the ultimate price?

  6. Who are the bastards who are involved in the PKFZ ? Only two major players today as it is . The one who took money from Tiong for his campaign during 10/10 and the other is the one who always gag others from telling the truth .

It has been said the two will now gang up with the fat arse idiot to deliver the presidency to the porn actor and hoping to be made transport minister !

  7. OTK is the one who first call for FRESH ELECTION rejected by LTL group. OTK is the one who received PM blessing for the GUP but breakdown instantly before AGM. OTK always wants MCA to move forward and CHANGE MCA from bottom to top leadership .Many chinese want MCA TO CHANGE.CHANGE will give MCA a new leaf and energy to face next GE. The Change if want OTK himself to bear the cost is unfair. UMNO may not like MCA CHANGE, he know once MCA grows stronger under the leadership of OTK, the position of UMNO becomes weak as refer to PERKASA indicating in Malaysia Insider.UMNO would always remains STRONG if MCA PRESIDENT is always weak or ponstar/MACC targetee . The CDs of MCA from now until 328, MUST WORK TOGETHER WITH OTK TO CHANGE MCA.WE CHINESE ALWAYS AT THE BACK OF YOU. LTL & CSL will become PUBLIC ENEMY of Malaysian Chinese.WKS is aiming MONEY only will sell Chinese and act as UMNO TRIGGER.CMF nothing because she is a PRINCIPLE WOMEN. NYY IS Malaysian Iron Lady.

  8. MCA can be strong? Dream on !

Arm no will never allow that to happen.

A weak MCA means a lapdog MCA.

A strong MCA means an MCA that don't need to heed arm no's wish.

As long as MCA is inside BN, MCA will be weak.

Arm no will see to that.

    No doubt about it.

    OTK's days are numbered.

Even if OTK wins the next election, he will NOT become a minister, and he will NOT have the authority over PKFZ.

If MCA really, and I mean REALLY wants to be strong, MCA has to do BREAK FREE OF THE CHAIN FROM ARM NO !

    No two ways about it.

MCA has to be FREE FROM ARM NO in order to gain back the respect from the Chinese people.

As long as MCA is inside BN, MCA will have to obey arm no.

    That is the reality.

Whether you like it or not, the reality is STILL the reality.

  9. New MCA will not too dependent on UMNO, without MCA, the chance for PR be the next Government is higher . PM/DPM or UMNO can burn the bridge now if they want. MCA has his own unit of FORT and OTK is the FIRST master in it, Chinese are trusting OTK for what he has done now is beneficial to Chinese and BRUTUS/FGZ/HAN KANG no place for this kind of people.MCA can stay independent and the most affected party is DAP. MCA will gather his force to take back Penang as first target.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Be real, okay?

MCA will always be dependent on arm no.

Without arm no's help, do you think MCA's candidates stand a chance of getting elected?

This is serious stuffs. Please stop dreaming !

  11. New MCA will depend who is the new steward. Chinese support leaders with RIGHTOUS , ANTI-CORRUPTION , HARD BACKBONE & CLEAN IMAGE. I have been in MCA many years ago and never want to ask help from UMNO but can win their respect because some UMNO ground leaders understanding the role of MCA as level leaders. As long as MCA has calibre TOP LEADERSHIP , win respect from other races is utmost important.Until now the concept of PR cant work well in RACE DOMINATING seat and it is fact.

  12. If we classified the present MCA into 3 categories. One group from deepest root of the party is the 307/603 CDs. With them MCA start springing with new leaves. The 2nd Group is just from Nursery who still need guardian to growth and easily being influenced and making use by some OLD FOX . The 3rd Group is money-orientated and business-minded.The 3rd group is a danger and untrusted group for the fate of the party. The 3rd has BIG MONEY to buy everything they wanted and many were victimized with good knowledge of politic turn to opposition and now mainly in PR.If in the 328 Fresh Election , the 1st and 2nd Group packed to fight the 3rd Group. The future of MCA & Chinese is positive. Lastly, some were victimized by the 3rd Group and still not give up MCA because they believe MCA TOMORROW WILL BE BETTER .

  13. Stop dreaming !

MCA can not do ANYTHING without the help from arm no !

MCA's candidates just can't get elected.

It is arm no that arranges MCA's candidates in their STRONGHOLD just so that MCA's Chinese candidate got elected in a Malay area.

Without arm no, MCA will have VERY FEW MPs.

    Get real, you guys !

As long as MCA is inside BN, MCA needs arm no.

There is no two ways about it !

Do tell your DAP Lim Kit Siang to stop his nonsensical attack on Najib and his 1Malaysia .

Do you want to see a Moderate UMNO leader gets replaced by the Ultras ? , the Fundamentalists ? the Hardliners and the Conservatives like Muhyhiddin or the Perkasa Idiot ?

  15. OTK..the only prevention you have for your heart attack is to release informations on who is involved in the PKFZ saga.

We know MCA guys like Ling and Chan would not dare to swallow the whole cake leave alone the guts to do it by themselves. They have to have the blessings of their tai ko in UMNO. Tell us..is it Mahathir, Abdullah, Najib, Muhi, Hisham?

Why are you protecting UMNO till today? They have been treated you like shit and yet you are not talking. Be a man!

If you want to win the Presidency, let us have one or two names that was involved and keep the rest until you have wrapped up the Presidency come 28th March. But make sure you leave it with someone you trust in case there is an assassination attempt on your life.

  16. A dream can come true. The power of dreaming is a force of gigantic. So PR do can have a dream to be the next government and by the time he can disclose not even PKFZ and many2 other issue like Lingkam video etc. DAP sure not like to see OTK to be the MCA president and the independent of MCA will be an liability to DAP. DAP since LKS , whom role like PM/DPM , do not wish MCA to have a good leadership, already crook with UMNO."WE HAVE A DREAM" - USA BLACK NATIONALIST - QUOTED BY OBAMA

  17. Shit stirrer?

MCA is already full of shit. Don't need me to stir it anymore.

MCA is full of so much shit that today if MCA's candidate dare to come to any Chinese area to contest, 90% of the time the candidate will lose.

Stop being in denial ! Denial doesn't do MCA any good.

And oh yes, what makes you think I support Lim Kit Siang?

Or is your mind so narrow that one has to support Lim Kit Siang if one doesn't buy into MCA's bullshit?

    ReplyDelete
  18. Oh, by the way, who cares who is leading arm no?

No matter who leads arm no it is racist as it can be anyway.

    So fark them deep deep.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Mr Denial , Mr Free from ARM NO , Mr Shit Stirrer , Mr LKS comrade

If MCA is full of shit which is why we are here to clean it up , DAP and PKR and PAS is equally full of shit .

At least we have someone here in MCA to clean it up . Do you have anyone to clean up the two junkies from Malacca ?

    ReplyDelete
  20. That is why MCA is full of kok toker !

Just because I refuse to buy into the bullshit of MCA does not mean I care a fark about those two a-holes from Malacca.

But then, what difference between you guys from those DAP farkers?

Both groups are equally narrow-minded, and both groups are equally stupid.
