MalaysiaKini : Clash of titans worsens

The problem-riddled MCA will witness another extraordinary general meeting (EGM) on Nov 28, in order to allow central delegates to decide on whether fresh polls is necessary to resolve the internal crisis.

CLASH OF TITANS ? HA HA HA

What a JOKER ! ! !

Three three looks like the THREE MONKEYS see not , hear not , think not or the THREE BLIND MICE rather than TITANS

UPDATE :

MCA AGM on Dec 5 - one week after 2nd EGM

Party boss Ong Tee Keat throws a spanner in the works for the rebel faction led by vice-president Liow Tiong Lai by setting the annual general meeting on Dec 5.

Lets see how many CDs they can get to attend their EGM .
Good political move . Hope Tee Keat can move a motion in the AGM to remove them of their posts .

  1. 'Clash of the titans'? Please don't make me laugh. A disposed 19-day deputy president taking on the president is called 'clash of the titans'? It should read 'Liow and his gang hitting the wall'.

These losers should just quit. In the first place, the previous EGM was not about removing Ong. It was about the three resolutions. But it was not good enough, based on MCA's constitution, to remove the president and the deputy president.

Besides, between Ong and Chua, the command more than 95 percent of the delegates. Even if another EGM is called, we already know the answer. Another EGM will be a total waste of resources and cause more embarrassment to the MCA.

To Liow and his supporters, if you cannot accept Ong as your leader, please quit and go somewhere else.

  2. Can anyone gives some lead on the drug smuggling attempt by Ong Ka Ting's brother into Australia several years ago?

I remember that the drugs were discovered inside washing machines shipped from Malaysia to Australia, with links to a brother of Ong Ka Ting.

If I can have some information, I can check with my buddies in DEA (of US) and their counterparts in Australia.

Maybe, just maybe, they can dig up something that the local authority has hush-hushed.

If Ong Ka Ting wants to play, hey, that is his Archille's heel, man !

I have read about that and have even downloaded that but need to shift thru all my data of ten years . I thought it has something to do with Ling , not Ka Ting .

  4. The two big snakes (ex-presidents) are starting to come out. I heard one of them signed the Letter of Support for KDSB on the last day of his tenure as Transport Minister. PAC/MACC MUST INVESTIGATE AND CHARGE HIM FOR CBT AS WELL.

The Party's Constitution has quite a number of Articles which are ambiguous which need to be amended. The Legal Bureau of the party should have taken the initiative to advice the party pertaining to the said Articles so that unscrupulous members do no take advantages of them. Some of them are defective and could make a mockery out of the party. Sub Article 30.2 should be amended to avoid EGMs being called to satisfied some unjustifiable selfish ends. ( if requisitioned in writing by at least one-third of the members of the Central Committee and endorsed by 2/3 of the members of the Central Committee during the CC meeting )The constitution has the noble function to protect the party and its members thus its Rules or Articles ought to be formulated in such a way that EGM is the last avenue to solve any party problem.
I still have doubt about the legality of the 28th Nov EGM from the point of fact and law.
At the material time when the requisition was handed in, the requirement of 1/3 requisitionists was fulfilled. From the point of fact at the material time when the requisition was executed and the notice sent out the number of requisitionists was reduced to only 12. From the point of law, it contravenes Sub Article 30.2 of the constitution. The onus is on the MCA Legal Bureau to interpret the Article. Refer to Rule 174 of the Constitution. I may be wrong but in legal issue we have to be persistent and argue like a "loya buruk".
Wong NC please check Society Act 1966. Amnesia - UMNO was deregistered by ROS.
