'Hard to feel pity' for tearful MCA duo

'They cried not because they want an EGM, they cried because they are going to lose their ministerial posts. Their ministerial perks are now at stake.'

'Disowned' duo make tearful plea for EGM

Al: What is there to cry about? PJ Utara kicked out Chew Mei Fun in favour of Tony Pua. Since March 8, 2008, she has been a deputy minister essentially without popular consent, while the people's choice, Tony Pua, has been arrested by the police. I find it hard to feel any pity for the likes of her.

Louis: They cried not because they want an EGM, they cried because they are going to lose their ministerial posts. Their ministerial perks are at stake. I suggest that all MCA delegates refrain from attending the EGM on Nov 28. There's no point to it. It's only a waste of time.

Think about how much time was lost over the bickering for positions. Please proceed with the real business now. Liow Tiong Lai, Chew Mei Fun and Wee Ka Siong should resign and get out already. Run and come back later. As of now, all three of them 'tak laku already'.

Ivan Yeo: Are both of you crying for yourselves because you have been sacked? Or are you crying for the rakyat because of their daily struggle to put food on the table, obtain milk for their young children, pay for their transportation fees, etc? Shame on the MCA.

Malaysians Are Not Stupid: 'Those who live by the sword die by the sword' aptly applies to these political clowns. What have they done for the Chinese community?

Did they shed a single drop of tear when the rights of the Chinese were eroded? Did they shed a single drop of tear when the Chinese were bullied? I am sure they did not.

Why? Because they have a vested interest in keeping quiet. Now that their privileges are being removed, they cry buckets and buckets of tears. Please go quietly and do not disgrace us anymore.

Jeffrey Yew: Nice crocodile tears there. I'm not a MCA supporter at all, but here are the facts:

1. Ong Tee Keat and Dr Chua Soi Lek were a democratically-elected pair to begin with.

2. During the Oct 10 EGM, shadowy forces sought to remove this democratically-elected pair through undemocratic means

3. The ROS' decision restored the democratically-elected pair

If they, Chew Mei Fun and Wee Ka Siong, are so concerned about the democratic process, they should wait until the next MCA election proper to come back. Chew has no business talking about democracy as she is a 'backdoor' deputy minister.

Multi Racial: I read with amazement what some politicians are prepared to do. In the first place, why are these two crying publicly? If they say they are crying for the democratic process, we all know that is hogwash.

If they are fighting for the democratic process, then why stay in MCA? They could do it better outside of BN. If they say they do it out of love for the MCA and if they truly love MCA, then they should cooperate with its president and deputy president.

Don't stir up trouble publicly. We should ask them why they rejected the second EGM called by Ong Tee Keat earlier. I think all politicians should take note that Malaysians have changed.

We are more educated, we are better informed, we realise the importance of good governance and efficient government services. We all want an end to corruption and racism.

Please, no more acting, no more nonsense. All honest and sincere politicians from all parties should work together now.

Ngawangjimpa: Even if Chew Mei Fun and Wee Ka Siong were to cry like a cascading waterfall, no one would sympathise with them. They entered into a high-stakes game and lost even before the Nov 28 EGM begins.

Had the duo won, they would now be smiling with mouths as big as football goal posts.

Steve: A few days ago, they were shouting like horses. Now they're putting on a 'crocodile tears show'.

I read from the star today that the Mooingddin said that if he was a chinese he will not vote for MCA. So PM you have a DPM encouraging the Chinese not to vote for MCA thus not for BN. Hahaha. When you have DPM"s like this you do not need enemies lah. Hehehehehehehehe

By the way likewise if I am a Malay I and my offsprings will never, never, never vote for UMNO.

On second thought what a relieve this Mooingdin is not a chinese. He will be a disgrace to the chinese community. Am I correct justice4otk?

  5. When we play a political game, there are many methods to play it. I am definitely a supporter of Ong Tee Keat, no doubt on that.

However, I do not agree with the latest moves to sack Ka Siong and Mei Fun from the Central Committee/Presidential Council.

The CC deals with party matters. Both KS and MF are still the elected leaders of their Youth and Wanita wings. Elected.

My priority is to see MCA regain their power grasp and win seats for Barisan Nasional, regardless of all infighting.

In an election machinery, the order or seniority must be obeyed. Tiong Lai is still Penang MCA Chief, Mei Fun is still Wanita Chief and Ka Siong is still Youth Chief.

When it comes to election, how can MCA function as a team ? The Youth and Wanita Chief play vital roles in mobilizing supporters across the country to win elections.

And we must expect them to play as a team but at the moment, I doubt they will play as a team.

MCA is still in a checkmate since fresh elections are rejected too and Tiong Lai, Mei Fun as well as Ka Siong are still elected leaders of MCA who are not in the same boat as Tee Keat and Ka Siong.

MCA's machinery during the elections will hit the wall, I predict.

Unless of course, anyone else can share their opinions on how to end and solve this matter I raised.

I can be reached at manifestogwl@gmail.com or any responses here will surely be read by me.

Let us all think and share together please.

  7. Goh, please think over what you just said.

You want both the pig and the noodle to remain in the presidential council, fine.

    Have it your way.

But please, shut them up !

You can't have those two in the presidential council and still yelling their head off every single time they have the chance.

MCA is not their personal playground, do you understand that, Goh?

    ReplyDelete
  8. Goh Wei Liang.

Constitutionally MCA is checkmated because Liow, Wee and Chew are elected leaders. Out of these 3, Wee and Chew are elected by their wings. The wings CC can vote and remove their leaders. Then, the constitutionally barrier is removed. As for Liow, without the numbers, he will be a lame duck.

MCA Wanita and MCA Youth, if you want MCA to move forward, remove Wee and Chew. Otherwise these wings are contributing to the demise of MCA and surrendering the control to outsiders. Elect new leaders.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Remove Wee and Chew. You have the MCA constitution. Use it. Even if it is to whack their heads with it.

  10. Goh.. so long as these troublemakers continue with their antics, its best to leave them out. If they can't work with the president, either they leave or be ask to go. The president have work to do, no more time to be wasted bickering over positions. These scumbags deserved to be kicked out for dragging MCA into the mess it is. The sooner direct election is held, the better. I don't think they will be able to get the mandate from the grassroots to head the Youth wing again.

  11. Malaysian Insider and Sin Chew are not giving up yet.

They are still airing their anti-OTK propaganda, full blast !

We know which faction of arm no is backing MI, how about Sin Chew?

Is there anything we Chinese can do to Sin Chew, and that boss with a face which look like a turtle head?

    ReplyDelete
  12. Bro Goh WL

They were given many chances to stop the bickering and then wait for six months for MCA to stabilise before MCA can have fresh elections . Why the constant harping and persistence to destabilise the Party ?

If the Youth Chief is not in the Presidential Council ( CMF back in by invitation ) is there any different from UMNO who does not have Khairy in UMNO's Presidential Council ? and neither is he a Minister ( totally dropped from all positions ) and yet he KJ does not go around painting the leadership and party black .

""In an election machinery, the order or seniority must be obeyed. Tiong Lai is still Penang MCA Chief, Mei Fun is still Wanita Chief and Ka Siong is still Youth Chief.""

Tiong Lai is the Penang Chief , correct however let me say this , he has minimal support in Penang as Penang is quite evenly supported by OTK and CSL 's supporters . As for the minimal support , I quote from one Chinese daily who says that Tiong Lai has one division backing him . I think that is correct and I think that division is from the Permatang Pauh side . Note I said from and I did not want to say it is . This division has all along been 100 percent align to CKC and naturally for them to support Tiong Lai , by order of the "unseen" hands .

As for Chew and Ka Siong , both their wings are inter lap with the main wing , and normally in most circumstances these wings are hand picked by the main body in the division , in other words we support the division's youth and wanita wing who are hand picked by the division's leadership and given the blessings to contest .

Both Chew nad Wee won due to this arrangement as at that time both we in the grouping or under OTK's "caitan"

""MCA's machinery during the elections will hit the wall, I predict.""

MCA has and cannot depend on MCA members to vote for MCA's candidates as can be seen from the 308 . MCA needs the support from the Chinese Community , who may or may NOT be from the MCA . This is the utmost importance , forget about what those opposition chinese will say , you can never get 100 percent support from the Chinese ( they always want to make sure nobody gets absolute support ) however if you can manage 60 percent support and translate that into votes in every parliamentary constituency , MCA should be satisfied and happy .

As it is right now the public opinion and trial by public opinion is very much against the Brutuses and Conspirators .

If they don't support the president, why should they remain in Presidential Council, doesn't make sense what.

  15. J4OTK,

To gain the support of the Chinese who are not MCA members (and also those who are already MCA members but already very much disillusioned by decades of lies and deceit from the leadership), MCA must proof to them that they are worthy of trust.

The FGZs will never get any support from the Chinese, and the longer they kacau, the more the Chinese got angry and who knows when the next GE gonna come?

If you guys fail to shut up the mouths of the FGZs, you guys stand to loose big.

As it is, many Chinese are already wondering why OTK hasn't yet "killed" those FGZs, and they wonder if OTK is the guy who walk his talk.

Something must be done, and it must be done fast, or the confidence the Chinese have in OTK may soon turns to dust.

  16. My friends, let me make things clear. I am Pro Ong Tee Keat and I have been a supporter of him since the very beginning.

I still like him and support him but I don't agree with several things. I will talk about other things later as I have some questions of my own and some are what I hear from the ground.

Anyway, let me get back to this matter. Putting Dr Mah as a representative of the Youth and Senator Heng as a resp of the Wanita are good moves.

This shows that the Youth and Wanita wings are still represented in the Party. However, Dr Mah and Senator Heng are not the Youth and Wanita Chief.

The order of ranks in Pemuda and Wanita must still be obeyed. When orders and information are disbursed, they have to follow the instructions or ideas by the Youth and Wanita Chief. This ist the order of ranks.

I do understand that Ka Siong and Mei Fun are not in the same boat, but as I said, they are still the elected Chief and they still hold power in MCA. What more to say, they are the highest order based on ranking in the Youth and Wanita wings.

Since, the fresh elections are rejected, they are still the Chief.

So, problems will still exist especially during elections, don't you think?

Unless of course, Ka Siong and Mei Fun are removed - be it by Constitution or by Election - as the Pemuda and Wanita Chief.

Now, you see my point buddies ?

    :)

Keep the response coming. I am back home and I have all the time to chat and share with my comrades.

We have to do the right thing and I want MCA to win big in the next election.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Goh WL

They are still in CC but not in the highest council . They can still contribute their ideas and opinions in CC but not in the Presidential Council which is the Policy and advisory Committee

  18. Ok buddy. I get your point now. Problem is, not many people know that and someone has to come up with a press statement to explain this thing - the role of CC, Presidential Council and that Mei Fun and Ka Siong can still play their roles.

WKS and CMF should know what DEMOCRACY is all about as they have been preaching the ideology even at the crying press conference. As I said before, any elected or appointed members ought to present their views in the meetings, to agree to disagree or vice-versa. Stand firm on your ground and be persistent with substance in the civilized culture during the meeting but once a decision is made every member is part and parcel of the decision made by consensus. No one except the person authorized by the party could talk to the press pertaining to the said decision. No more calling for different press conferences to state dissenting views to the media. This is democracy. This how we can gain back the dignity and credibility of the party. Discipline has to be instilled.

The final episode of the mini drama ended yesterday. The plot was well thought of and also righteously executed so that the party could move forward. Happy endings. No harsh sentences. The reshuffle is necessary so that the party could move in a faster pace as there is not much time left for the next GE.

MCA is not facing a BIG problem. It is the minority 10 (previously 12 down from 16) who are doing the smear campaign and refuse to toe the line. WKS is not MCA Youth and CMF is not MCA Wanita. They are two individuals who happened to be the leaders of the two wings. Majority of the Youth and Wanita are supportive of GUP and the present leadership.

The lost souls should cool off for a while. Be conscientious and reflect on the events leading to the outcomes of yesterday CC meeting. They should be enlightened and able to find the right and true paths I hope.

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 19 — The prime minister, who has so far resisted openly intervening in the MCA leadership tussle, said today he will meet party leaders individually after describing the crisis as getting “worse” and “more serious”.

YAB Prime Minister, LTL, CMF and WKS have defiantly refused to subscribe to the implementation of GUP which has been sanctioned by the Party during the CC meeting in which they were part and parcel of the decision made. The minority ( only ten down from 12(16) CCMs) is making noise without much support from the Chinese community except the vernacular newspapers ( Sinchew/China Press/Nanyang) which have been twisting and spinning lies. YB Khairy the UMNO youth chief is not appointed minister and I salute him for being a team player and a loyal UMNO member unlike the indiscipline lost souls. Everything is not right with them. Majority has to follow minority. Decision made in CC meeting not to be respected. GUP is illegal. Unconstitutionally EGM called is legal. ROS interpretation of the constitution is just a piece of paper not to be followed.
With the reshuffle MCA shall be able to move forward more effectively to implement GUP with its objectives to unite, heal and serve.

Buy a copy. Read the ads.

Start calling, writing, emailing those who advertise on Sin Chew.

Tell them how fed up you are with them for advertising in that shitty newspaper.

Tell them how bad their product / service would become if they do not stop associating with that shit paper.

And then tell your friends, family, to help you contact those who spend money advertising on Sin Chew.

The more people do that, the fewer advertisers will want to waste their money on that shit paper.

  40. Hmm buddies, relax. If we dislike Liow, Wee and Chew, we do not need to go on attacking them with unprofessional words like sodomy or running dogs etc.

I believe all of us here are supporters of MCA. If we continue to portray such words to the world to see, we are no different than Pakatan Rakyat troopers.

They practise intimidation, defamation and only seek affirmation of their actions. They go around with profanities and foul language.

This should not be the culture of MCA. We should consider or adopt professional cyber discussion and arguments.

Then only voters will see how well we handle things and how terrible are Pakatan Rakyat.

It will also give us MCA folks an additional point to present ourselves and place us on a higher level.

However, I do agree that it is your rights to say or type anything, including profanities and intimidation. But, those are just a word of advice from me.

The Prime Minister will officially speak to MCA leaders soon.

Actually if you ask me, sometimes in politics, "doing nothing" is also a strategic move.

The Chinese community initially were unhappy to see the 3rd force portraying their ambitious side and greedy characters.

Now, they are wary of Tee Keat's move. Even the Press are playing the news as though Tee Keat is a dictator.

Sometimes, there are many ways to deal with things. Tee Keat should have made the decision together with Central Committee members or at least with Dr Chua.

This is to ensure that Tee Keat's image stays intact and the burden of responsibility is spread among those who made the decisions.

That would have been a better way, instead of now, some quarters and Press are saying it is all because of Tee Keat.

If and only if Tee Keat had announced that it was a collective decision, then, the ball game is different and perception will still be better.

Just my thoughts. Let us wait and see what the Prime Minister, in his capacity as Barisan Nasional Chairman, has in mind.

And please, don't start hammering me with all sorts. I am once again, a Tee Keat supporter but I am not a yes man. I voice out what I think is good for MCA's image and what I think is good for the President.
