Nibong Tebal constituency heading for a revolt !

Looks like the PKR MP for Nibong Tebal is at loggerheads with the DAP leadership , the Jawi ADUN also having problems .

Jawi state rep upset over parking issues

NONEMeanwhile, Jawi assemblyperson Tan Beng Huat has threatened to quit DAP and become independent assemblyman if the state government is adamant on imposing car parking fees in Nibong Tebal.

Tan said he was disappointed with the decision and asked Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng to reconsider the decision.

"If they refuse (to withdraw the paid parking system), I will (quit to become independent)," he told reporters at his service centre today.

Earlier, some 50 people representatives and members of non-governmental organisations gathered peacefully to protest against the decision to impose the parking fees which took effect from Jan 1.

No charges were levied for parking before this.
