Letterman says wife 'horribly hurt' by sex scandal
NEW YORK (Oct 6, 2009): Comedian David Letterman said on Monday his wife has been "horribly hurt" by revelations of his sexual affairs exposed in an extortion plot against him and he apologised to staff of his popular late-night talk show.
The host of "Late Show with David Letterman" said in the taping of his Monday show that he will try to patch things up with Regina, whom he married in March after dating for more than 20 years. The two have a 5-year-old son, Harry.
"She has been horribly hurt by my behavior, and when something happens like that, if you hurt a person and it's your responsibility, you try to fix it," Letterman told audiences, according to a statement from his company, Worldwide Pants.
"And at that point, there's only two things that can happen: either you're going to make some progress and get it fixed, or you're going to fall short and perhaps not get it fixed, so let me tell you folks, I got my work cut out for me."

I pity the Datin who has been suffering in silence from the sex romping ways of the pornstar . She is indeed a woman to stand by her man , just like a dumb person stung by hornets ! Who cannot speak out nor scream out . As a wife she is without doubt 'horribly hurt' by the sex scandal of her husband . She has my sympathies .
Dr Chua, please retire graciously
I AGREE with the remarks of David Tan and other readers that a tainted leader should not hold important posts in any organisation, let alone an organisation that prides itself on representing Malaysian Chinese: “Hard to accept a leader who is morally tainted” (The Star, Sept 29).
Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek was a controversial figure even when he was the Health Minister. He had endless squabbles with private medical practitioners, accusing them of being unprofessional, and threatening to arrest them and taking them to court.
Then there was the tragic case of baby Yok Shan losing her left forearm in a case where a trainee doctor at a government hospital accidentally made an intravenous injection into the muscles instead of the blood vessels. The resulting infection caused her arm to blacken and eventually it had to be amputated.
Dr Chua did not take any action, and neither did he seem to care. He even made the infamous remark that Yok Shan’s parents had a choice which hospital they wanted to seek treatment from. Did he not know that government hospitals are there to serve all Malaysians, more so Malaysians who cannot afford to go to private hospitals, as was the case with Yok Shan’s parents?
During his time, the ministry had many shortcomings. One such example is the little enforcement on the usage of banned food additives and preservatives, which affected the health of all Malaysians.
When his sexual escapade was exposed, he resigned from his ministerial position and party post. However, he now says that his family and friends have forgiven him and he is making a comeback. In my opinion, he should retire graciously.

Yes I agree with you that this Pornstars's wife is suffering in silence pretending to be happy to be seen with this Pornstar in public functtions. Do not know where to hide her face each time her Pornstar is being cursed by the chinese coummnity. Of course this arrogant Pornstar has claim publicly that his wife has forgiven him. But let me ask this scum what choice has she got. For the sake of her children she is forced to stand by this pornstar. I dare bet my last dollar that she will scream and cold sweat will break out each time this pornstar touches her.
ReplyDeleteI fully agree with you anonymous , that she had no choice and for the sake of her children , she has to force herself to appear happy while deep inside she is very hurt . Also she has to stand by him even though she is subjected to physical abuses , verbal abuses by the pornstar . Even his children has strangely been very silent and quiet .
