Flaws in Tiong's 10 Million donation

I have been following with much interest the statements by Bintulu MP Tiong King Sing, whose company Kuala Dimensi Sdn Bhd (KDSB) is a key component in the Port Klang Free Zone (PKFZ) fiasco.

Loan or Donation?

He has earlier first claimed that it was a loan given to Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat for MCA political activities. Subsequently, after having realized that it would not be believable he took a 360⁰ turn and alleged that he has given a cash donation of RM10 M to Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat for MCA activities. Why the loan theory is not believable? Datuk Seri Ong would not be so stupid to take a loan for MCA as he will be personally liable to repay the loan if the Party failed to repay the loan. If it is loan, it got nothing to do with the Party. So the “donation” plot would be perfect as it would cause the members of MCA to go against their President for pocketing the money meant for MCA. A very clever twist.

Unfortunately for Ong, there are gullible party members. Worse, he has detractors from within and these people have added fuel to the fire.
But the party president has explained the issue clearly and publicly. In his on-going meetings with party members across the country, many are said to be convinced that Ong was telling the truth.
Ong has declared that his conscience is clear on the RM10mil allegation. I think that as long as he believes he has done no wrong, the MCA president has nothing to fear.

The ‘Private Jet Issue’

Revelation of “Private Jet Issue” to corroborate the allegation of RM10 million.
Taking the private jet is an undeniable fact. If the first allegation (the taking of the private jet) is true then it would made the second allegation (RM10million) more convincing and believable. This plot seems to work quite nicely. But if one is to give a serious thought about it, one can see that it was used to create a smoke screen to make the “RM10 million allegation” more exciting. Be careful the next time you take a free ride from an acquaintance. But the bottom line is where the proof?

Is Ong the only one taking free rides from him ? What about other UMNO leaders who have also been enjoying free rides from him thru his Deputy ?
What about the fact that when he found out that he doesn't have a Charter License , they changed the tuned to billing Ong only the fuel and airport charges amounting to 10,000 ringgit ?
Until today , we have yet to see the invoice for the fuel charges !

The Proof of taking RM10 million cash

Here comes the mother of all plots. First, it was claimed that the money was placed in the briefcase. After having realized that it would take huge numbers of briefcase to contain the cash, he again took a swift turn to say that it has placed in two “fruit boxes”. Sound familiar if one is to follow ex Taiwan President Chien’s case.

To strengthen his claim, here comes the instrument of Statutory Declaration. Sound familiar again isn’t? Yes, the case of Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim (first sodomy case Munawar Anees and his adoptive brother Sukma Darmawan Sasmita Atmadja; the second case, saiful) and Altantuya (P. Balasubramanian). The most rampant abuse declaration used by politician nowadays. Datuk Chua Soi Lek’s camp is now using this too in calling for an EGM. Those who have signed it unknowingly may fear of legal implication if they wish to withdraw the declaration. Creating a fear factor.

Statutory Declaration a big word but it is merely a declaration under oath just like one do when given evidence in court. But to the public it gives a different perspective. Clever isn’t it. Give the guy RM100k and he would happily give you the Statutory Declaration because it is just a declaration under oath. “Sumpah sahaja” . Chicken feed-lah. For God sake, who is Tiong King Sing going to con now.
Seriously, who do you want to believe now?
