Hulu Selangor acid test for MCA, says Najib
Speaking at the Barisan Nasional Operation Centre located at Kuala Kubu Baharu MCA Building, Najib said it was a test whether they had the support of the Chinese community or not.
“This is a big factor for the MCA to be a credible party,” he said as he stopped at the centre during his visit to the BN operation rooms in the Hulu Selangor constituency.
Also present were Deputy MCA president and Health Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai, and secretary-general Datuk Seri Kong Cho Ha.
The MCA, which was in crisis for the last few months, saw former health minister Datuk Seri Chua Soi Lek winning the presidency in the recent party poll.
Najib said he wanted the BN machinery to do their level best and support the coalition’s candidate P. Kamalanathan, who is facing Datuk Zaid Ibrahim of the Parti Keadilan Rakyat in the Sunday by-election.
“I want the Chinese to join hand-in-hand with the Indians, Malays and other races to move Malaysia forward. We need them to come on board... we need the Malaysian Chinese to support us,” he added.
There are about 17,000 Chinese voters in the constituency of 64,500 voters, while MCA itself has about 8,000 members here. — Bernama

It is quite clear that the Chinese Hulu Selangor are not supporting MCA. Najib said " it’s also a test for the new leadership of MCA". MCA has failed even before the test going by Liow Tiong Lai's statement. This trio of DVD man, Brutus and King Kong are jokes.

ReplyDelete1M-PM already knew MCA was rejected by people of HS. No surprise with what 1M-PM saying about credibility of MCA. Porn Star only supported by 1/3 MCA delegates and totally rejected by Chinese community.
ReplyDeleteIt is common knowledge for MCA to lose even before by Election but made worse by electing a tainted person to be top leader. What to do - just wait to be bas over the head. 1m Pm can't do anything - acid test talk just a reflection of bad omen - tell2 sign MCa fall out of favour in BN like Gerakcunt - Pm mad tell voters just X to vote without justificaton, oh, drink/gamble that's it no good so simple no brain when talk like that. Kurang ajar villagers also no feel this way - sign of desperation and D day for Bn in HS. Want to bet - think Z majority 7,000.

ReplyDeleteI checked with one Datuk ( name with held ) about the response to OTK's visit to HS . I was told he was instructed to be in HS for the whole day yesterday . Not sure about today whether he will be there .
From what he told me , not my words , they were very happy to see him and was very welcomed compared to the others .
Remember the oracle that choosing the wrong president will definitely bury MCA? The tainted pornsident didn't even dare to canvass for votes in HS as I see it. Will he appear in HS after MIA? What a shame !
ReplyDeleteChua Sol lig no wher to be seen - very good escape - know hindrance and make voters angry lah - by right CSL should be the front campaigner for MCA to improve BN situation. ook like all MCA leaders very very quiet. What can they do without OTK. Now they know - think first better - not swayed by jealousy/revenge to kill each other. Don't know good leader - too late. If lose HS BN wants MCA out -tjis is acid test of all time esp Selangor - very important. Where are thou then - Sayonara and have a beaugiful sax exit out to noway. Told u b4 but no listen - too lait
ReplyDeleteNext election OTK will be elected and the rest goners as they are yes men to Armno and chines c don't like one bit. See this Hulu Selangor they are not happy wth LTL and all the Armno men. This spells disaster like the earthquake gettingbigger or smaller but more occurences at least twice a day will be like MCA get rejected by chinese forever. See after electing such a leader the Party appears to fall in one peace but cannot unite as moral fundameental to cement humanity - the essnce of DNA attracts like minded and not the other way around - outlaw and imbeciles

If I were the PM, I would say : "This MCA deputy president is useless. All he did was complain in the media. Why can he do something real for a change?"

Perhaps Chinese votes only 2400 (1/3 of MCA members at HS).
PKR's spree at resigning quite a laugh and BN's attack on grounds of drinkimng habit and owning a race-horse all are like pea brain without intelligence and principles and now apco refering s.o to RPC- all these will backfire - voters not that stupid anymore - modern time of technology is a reawakening for them. Never learn from the past these BN idiots.

ReplyDeleteKUALA KUBU BARU: The PKR Hulu Selangor by-election campaign machinery was dealt a big blow Thursday when its Hulu Bernam polling district committee chairman Mohd Salleh Mat Noor abandoned the party.
Mohd Salleh quit together with about 200 others local leaders and members, including Hulu Bernam Youth chief Hanif Sairan.
They said they decided to quit as the party had failed to uphold its promises and look after the welfare of the people.
Hanif said when the Pakatan Rakyat government was set up in Selangor, the people in Kalumpang had looked forward to a better future, but after two years, they had become disillusioned.
They have expressed interest to join Umno.
A spate of resignations hit PKR Thursday, among them, former Perlis PKR deputy head Keria Senawi and three committee members of various branches in the state, and Kelantan PKR Youth chief Wan Khairul Ihsan Wan Ahmad and its secretary Ezri Zainal Abidin.
Please don't "defame" our new President.

This is the result of a democratic election - 3-cornered fight.
It is unfair to now in hind sight labelling the President as the "minority president/porn-sident" etc.
Don't tell me that some Chinese (in MCA) still don't understand democracy?

Morning & noon: House to house visit;
4.00 pm : To accompany PM Najib visiting Ulu Yam (subject to confirmation);
6.00 pm: CSL to visit Kuala Kubu Kubu Qin Ming SJKC
7.30 pm: Grand (1,000 people) dinner at Ulu Yam.
Saturday the 24 : CSL to visit KKB & Rasa new villages.
