Ka Ting joins fray, to go for No 1
Sunshine: Tell us again: Why did you leave in the first place?
Ng Seng Tong: Ong Ka Ting has never been known to be a fighter-all-the-way when it comes to presenting issues of the Chinese community to the Umno/BN government. Yes, Umno would hear him out, but that's about all.
Umno would not listen to him, thus, all issues affecting the Chinese are ignored. Wasn't he the president of MCA just before the last held general election? If he had represented the Chinese effectively, MCA would not have been trashed in the general election.
Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak prefers him rather than Ong Tee Keat because he is easier meat to chew. MCA members, don't be short-sighted. In your earnest desire to get over the in-fighting in your party by electing him, you are going to be frustrated with him and his way of forever kowtowing to Umno. Please check his track record in this area.
Azmil Tayeb: There it goes. The Umno running dog is contesting. If he takes over MCA, then the results of the next general election will be the last election for MCA. The party will be finally put to rest and cremated.
Changeagent: Ong Ka Ting's comeback statement is so predictable and cliched. Of course, it's the party delegates who have 'urged him to do so'. Never mind the fact that it was under his helm that MCA was almost obliterated in the last general elections.
Instead of listening to the party delegates only, it would be wise for him to also listen to the larger Chinese community. They do not trust him nor his leadership capabilities. Is that message loud and clear enough for Ka Ting?
Habib RAK: The best thing for OKT (Ong Ka Ting) to do to help MCA members is to quit BN and be an NGO. Being a lapdog to Umno is simply helping it to screw the Chinese community.
Mari Cari Amoi: What has Ong Ka Ting done for the community during his tenure besides being a good lap dog? Just because he is not holding a position now in MCA does not means he is an angel and can be a saviour. The best solution for MCA is close shop and distribute its RM2 billion assets.
1melayu: MCA does not have the Chinese' support. He is not doing it for his community. He is doing it for himself. Ong Ka Ting, as they say, "you can fool some of the people some of the time, some of the people all the time, but never all the people all the time."
Justine: He is out to destroy MCA. The last time he led the party, it was nearly wiped out. He killed off capable leaders like Jimmy Chua (Jui Meng), Fong Chan Onn, Ting Chew Peh and replaced them with incapable youngsters, leaving the party in such a sorrowful state of affairs.

ReplyDelete(3) Tee Keat was advised to take another leadership test based on the disciplinary action and given confidence that he has the support of Ka Ting/Kong Choy boys. The results and the outcome of the 10/10 EGM unfolded and the rest was history....
What was the result ?
Tee keat managed to get 50% of the votes during 10/10 right !
Now this 50 % of the votes are in actual fact the solid , hardcore votes for Tee Keat .
During and before 10/10 they had already conspired to topple Tee Keat , in fact all of them . Tee Keat was expected to win by at least 300 votes or more , but that vanished into thin air as the Liow and gang withdrew their support for Tee Keat without OTK's knowledge until the very last moment , but by then it was too late .
But then as I said OTK still got 50 %.
So then the other 50% of the cake is made up of who ?
They consisted of CSL's people/supporters and $ power , Liow and gang ( CKC , WKS & CMF ) ,The third force ie OKT , OKC , and his croonies .
Together they were conspiring to oust OTK with the help from the two Tiongs ( Kuala Dimensi & Sinchew ) plus certain shadowy figures in UMNO .
That is why today CSL is so pissed that with the OKT coming into the fray , his chances has diminished as they are all fighting for this 50 % and their votes are all overlapping .
That is why today we are seeing CSL and his supporters whacking Ka Ting while you don't see OTK's supporters whacking Ka Ting prior to his announcement .
I wouldn't want to put a figure on their votes percentage like who has what percentage . Since they are all overlapping its so difficult to put a quantum sum on it .
To reinforce OTK's 50 % hardcore votes can be seen from the ones who attended the AGM whom we had not insisted that they attend . A lot were excused for not attending as they had business to run on weekends and could not scarifice four weekends as the voting will be on the same month ie 28 th .
Even then OTK managed to get 603 votes out of 2300 which is about 30 % .
This more or less reaffirms the support for OTK as we were of the opinion that only 300 delegates would show up due to the conflicting on/off AGM where transport tickets were cancelled .
So from here you can get a fairly good picture on the voted distribution .
Make your own analysis on Chua going for No 1 , vote distribution and Chua going for No 2 , who will his supporters support for the presidency ?
The fat pig is saying that he "respects" Ong Ka Ting's decision on making a come back. Which means, LTL faction will definitely side with Ong brothers.

But if Tee Keat and Soi Lek don't work together, the Ong brothers gonna have a walk over.
Whether you guys like it or not, this is the reality.
One more thing you guys (and I mean you guys from both the Tee Keat camp and the ones from Soi Lek camp) must consider:

What about that Special briefing held by them with all expenses paid and bonuses thrown in ? That special briefing ie third force ( OKT , OKC group ) + LTL group ( WKS who claims he can get 200 votes and CMF ) could only get 547 votes , not even one third ! That was their strength .
Don't forget that many now has been infuriated by them boycotting the AGM and they have exposed their true colors .
Many have deserted them , my friend !
Look like no one is sure of the body count. It if this or if that. Pull out the book of dirty tricks. This is the time.
ReplyDeleteCSL on debt to OTK on (1) Reinstate his Deputy Post via ROS & CC (2) GUP gave him much room to govern MCA without much complaint from outside (3) Betrayed OTK before AGM. But history told us CSL is better than OKT. And OTK is much2 better than OKT. CSL will never have chance again under OKT but ONE MAN BELOW OTK. 999,999 Members under him.

Now that Ong Ka Ting has thrown his hat in the ring, the figure will change, and Tee Keat may not get to enjoy as many votes.

On need for OTK to join forces with anyone, he should defense his post solely on his own strength for the presidency to be sustainable. If he is successful then that show he is great, therefor nobody dare to be funny with him again that would allow him to carry out his reforms without any obstacle. If he lose, than he should find out where are his weakness, correct them and try again the following election. OTK cannot afford to be betrayed again by depending on other to secure the presidency. He should start building his strength for long term struggle.......

if CSL and OTK join force - do not think politics is like mathematics. It would not add up to 1300 votes. Easily 200 votes will go to OKT, because there are ppl who can not stand the other camp for respective reasons.
