Fresh polls: Liow stands to lose everything
I refer to the Malaysiakini report Protest held at MCA HQ against Ong's unity plan.
I fail to see how Liow Tiong Lai can win if there is a fresh election for MCA after the Nov 28 EGM, presuming that the delegates want a fresh poll.
He had admitted that he less than 20 percent of the delegates' support. The Oct 10 EGM showed that Dr Chua Soi Lek has the most support following Liow forming a splinter group from Ong Tee Kiat's group.
Elections under the present rule of MCA delegates voting will certainly flatten Liow if he stands against Ong for the president's post.
This under the presumption that Ong and Chua can work together as a team under 'Greater Unity Plan'.
Liow will lose everything including the cabinet post. The next cabinet reshuffle will also see the exit of Youth and Wanita chiefs who backed Liow.
However, Liow's chances would be better if there is a direct election for the MCA leadership.
So for ambitious Liow, going fo fresh party polls under the present setup will be detrimental and possibly see a premature end to his political career.
MCA's 'Third Force' against Confucianism
I refer to the Malaysiakini report Protest held at MCA HQ against Ong's unity plan.
It is normal for an emperor to change his downline leadership and establish a new cabinet within the state's administration. The reason is to enhance the state's capability to better serve the people.
Regarding the MCA's issues, every MCA member must play a role as a party member and stay within the party's 'boundary'.
It is common knowledge that if a person is a member of an organisation, that person is automatically bound by the organisation's rules and regulations.
Party members can criticise the leadership of MCA by using the proper channel that has been provided.
If party members start to criticise the leadership in the public sphere; the party leader should take an action and have zero tolerance.
This action is in order to maintain the unity of the party and to show the strong leadership of the party.
Any member who is unsatisfied with the party and wants to publicly criticise the party needs to get rid of their party's membership.
The actions that the 'Third Force' did to MCA actually are not in line with the moral code of an organisation or with Confucianism philosophy.
DEpending on the candidates - CSL will stand to win as OTK has less support now.

ReplyDeleteThat the reason why I am advocating for NO TO ELECTION stand. OTK should not win on CSL strength, but on his own merit, otherwise he will be under CSL's thumb. What he need is time to built up his own strength as such status quo will be best for him, If there is a election, it is better for OTK to walk away to keep his principle intact rather than be under someone's influence or control and that is is what I think he will be doing.

MCA people should not fool around anymore, if OTK is dispose off then surely GE 13 will completely buried them. Najib is edgy and worried that the Chinese community reject MCA completely which I think he is correct but wrong to interfere in MCA affair.
If anybody were to do their analysis and survey correctly, OTK will be the saver and winning formula for MCA.
That's why the PR guys silently want OTK to lose in the MCA struggle as he will be seen as a formidable force to reckon with where else the Btutus or CSL will be an easy meat.

I remember OTK said he is under attacks from all directions after exposing PKFZ scandal....I guess exposing himself in a fresh MCA election will see him tearing apart (in term of votes) by all sort of means.....Simply put, someone want to kick OTK out by all means even sacrificing LTL etc..

About fresh election LTL only 20% support from CD, why insist on having it quick - cos something is going wrong. Just imagine, they have a timeframe to slaughter. I suppose they have evaluated from different level and angles to gauge support. There must be a squad somewhere who already knew how to manipulate things/votes and they are unafraid. It is time OTK goes down to those who support him or do some fact findings - not like the last time - promises turned into betrayals - need strategies and don't trust no one even those weho smile and pat you on the shoulder. NO lah. This HuaZong (Federation of Chinese Associations Malaysia) President Tan Sri Pheng Yin Huah is not against OTK, or has any link to burung tiong....
TS Pheng is Najib's man. He was challenged by Anwar Ibrahim's proxy, Tan Yew Sing (Inti CEO) for the HuaZong presidency on 27 Sept 2009.Najib's proxy won....

We must understand that now MCA has so many factions:
(a) OTK;
(b) CSL,Ng Yen Yen;
(c) Ong brothers,CMF;

(f) Kang Cho Ha;
(g) WKA;
(h) Donald Lim;

And, almost all listed Companies have their respective political masters....Just check their chairman's name & background....
So we need to accept the fact that: Not only Chinese politicians, but Chinese tycoons also kow-tow to political masters.

MCA do not elect a rightous, anti-corruption (latest Bao Dai Yan ) President like OTK. Not forget previous GE, Pak Lah won almost all parliment seats and even better than Tun Ma because chinese believe he will be BTY. If MCA prefer CSL or LTL , sure can not win back the chinese votes. Both CSL & LTL want fresh party election to be held before next March showing both have the confident over OTK. As someone say LTL has 20% strength and insisted early party election like to commit political suicide . CSL confident is reasonable but his Sabah & Perak CDs may shift to LTL. Thus LTL/OKC/KHH/WKS/CMF team up may have at least 500 CDs and 200 CDs may be brided over to attend the EGM. LTL knows his strength is greatly affected by both cryingman & cryingwoman who keen to make different noise to attract PM attention but cannot convince chinese community instead. LTL his last card is 2 only, believe or not, by 1128 you can see it.

ReplyDeleteMany youth and wanita CDs turned from inaction and decided to attend the 1128 EGM after the sacking of their chiefs from PC. I got the news from my mother in law and her friends who happen to be CDs.But unfortunately I cann't change their mind as they are too naive into believing the arguement given by their chiefs...too bad...and sorry.

ReplyDeleteI am not a big fan of Liow. The Toyota Alphard story is one major ammunition for the Opposition to use in the 13th General Election if he is MCA President. Moreover, his track record as Minister of Health is ... quite dull, if not bad.
ReplyDeleteMoreover, his Health policies are receiving mixed reviews with many criticising his moves to implement Health tourism with public funds, and also the untested and quite unscientific traditional medicine with public funds.
However, Wee Ka Siong is a good speaker and he has great oratory skills. This is a fact we cannot deny. He can be a great asset.
I hope he takes a step back and accept the GUP to join forces with Tee Keat and Soi Lek. Together, I believe, the three of them can do wonders for the Malaysian Chinese Association.

I am confident that if the 3 of them work together, Pakatan Rakyat especially DAP will be stretched to the limit and could lose out to MCA.

The more I look at this matter, the more I found that many CDs from MCA are immature.

Most of the CDs with due respect are simple folks with very simple and immature mind. Most of them are computer illiterate thus do not use the internet facilities.The results of the educated Chinese who are apolitical. This mindset have to change.
ReplyDeleteWith a little bit of patient, explain to them they will understand the real situation. Most of them are sensible people. The sandiwara directed by LTL and played by WKS and CMF might have move them emotionally a little bit.
The Chinese media in which most of the CDs depend may have affect their perception.
Well, if there is any election OTK and CSL have to arrange roadshows to give the clear picture of the predicament facing MCA and to gain support. LTL and cohorts appear almost everyday in NTV 7, Astro Awani, TV3, Sinchew, Nanyang and China Press to twist and spin stories, lies and plots. So, when the time comes, have to be more pro active, using the brains and not brawns. OTK and CSL have the advantages of being the righteous leaders who are fighting for the noble causes. Both of the had/have performed remarkably in their ministries and serving the people. People are sceptical of LTL and cohorts leadership.
I on my part will keep on writing in any blog available and explaining to people. The other side have been sending lots of smses to CDs discrediting OTK, HengSK and CSL. They have financial backing from some tycoons. OTK and CSL too should use the SMSes. It is quite effective, if the last GE is to be as the benchmark.
THE RIGHTEOUS SHALL PREVAIL
WKS and CMF have been relieved of their PC membership due to their own follies. They refused to be part of anything the president wants to implement especially GUP. The defiance they showed by refusing to attend the GUP meeting should not be condoned. They have been persistenly and fraudulently breached the party constitution. The president of MCA (not OTK) has to protect the dignity of the party.

It is useless to have election after election when these people refuse to change their mindset which is extremely essential. They only postponing their problems. Even OTK leave the scene they will still fight for wealth and fame.
Look at their battle cry, they demand for election and only know how to condemn OTK weakness but cannot offer a concrete solution how to make MCA better. That action itself demonstrate that they are power crazy. These people will not accept OTK solution to reform MCA even they know it is good, that tell us what kind of people OTK is dealing with.........
Muhyiddin got what he wanted to interfere into MCA affair, clearly that is to dictate their choice, off course the main beneficials are the trouble maker and loser is MCA ...........

GUP is a blue print to rebuild MCA through uniting, healing and serving the community effectively. This is a solution to rebuild and rejunevate the party. Wisdom is correct that re-election is not the solution to the impasse of the party, if the mindset of LTL, WKS and CMF remain the same. The BIG I should be demolished. Respect the MAJORITY AND SUBSCRIBE to the REAL DEMOCRACY.
ReplyDeleteReform is the answer. Starting with GUP which has been inclusive and nobody has been excluded till now. The exclusion of WKS and CMF in the PC is their own making. They have stated categorically that they did not support GUP. But GUP has been sanctioned by the party in the CC meeting, any of the principal office bearers who goes against the plan has breached the party constitution. MCA cannot have PC members whose function are at the implementation stages. Having them would definitely impede the effectiveness any plan or reform.
Reasons why re-election is not the answer to the MCA problem.
1. The minority will always requisition for an EGM to show dissatisfaction. Just 1/3 or merely 13 or 14 CCMs can call for one.
2. The minority will always make simultaneous press conferences after each CC meeting conflicting the decision of the party.
3. The minority will always make statements to TV3, NTV 7, Sinchew, Nanyang and China Press twisting and spinning fictions to destabilise the party.
4. The minority will not respect the hierarchical set up of the party. Shouting and bangging table is their culture. Talking loudly menacingly together means power and can subdue the chair. etc-etc
Thus implement GUP first, for at least 6 months. Put the house in order first. Inculcate and instill the good values of a leader in the leaders. Enlighten them about the CORRECT DEMOCRATIC PRINCIPLES and also make them study the Party Constitution and the duty of ROS. Reform them!!
Re-election can come later on when everyone has come to his senses. The outcomes of the re-election if it is allow to proceed will have the merry-go-round effect. What goes round will come around. You do me 1st day of the moon I do you 15th day of the moon.

All MCA deserves is "leaders" like that rotten fish head, that crying pig, that lying bitch and/or that backstabbing FGZ liow.
In other words, the people of MCA, if they do not change their ways of thought, only deserve Bai Ga Zhai as their leader.

CSL & OTK must make it clear to the public the reason they want to abandance GUP where it has obtained 2/3 majority CC support . They should not let this plan down due to the PM & DPM intervene. The Brutus Gang has different talking to the immature & stupid mindset CCs. CSL who is head of he GUP must persist to work at certain time or level .Then the three parties must agree to the Fresh Party Election b4 the GUP is dropped. Today I read a news article , very nice indeed , which aim is to break relationship in between CSL & OTK. Senator Heng please watch up.
