In an apparent snub to MCA president Dr Chua Soi Lek, the party's Wanita wing today appointed Rachel Ten Li Chin - the leader of a women's pressure group against Chua's presidency - to the wing's central committee.
Is she the organiser of this movement ?
Women turn ‘green hatters’ in campaign against tainted leaders
KUALA LUMPUR: A group of women calling their movement “No Adulterous President” is demanding that public figures with stained reputations must not hold leadership positions.
To signify their intent, the women deliberately dressed in black, donned green hats made of hard paper and face masks with the words: “No Adulterous President.”
The group was formed three weeks ago, said its spokesperson Rachel Ten. They comprised about 20 women from various races and the face mask represented women who are oppressed and unable to speak out.
“We are of the view that any leader with a stained reputation will adversely affect an organisation and the communities that they serve which may ultimately cause the downfall of the organisation.
“As such, it is highly undesirable for such a person to be allowed to hold leadership positions,” said Ten at a press conference yesterday.
Their declaration came at a crucial time with the MCA election just a day away.
Asked if they were talking about MCA presidential candidate Datuk Seri Chua Soi Lek, who was embroiled in a sex DVD scandal, the group said they were just giving a general statement in view of “current situations”.
“We do not intend to target anyone or any organisation. It is just that of late, there have been a lot of immoral incidents in the entertainment, sports and political scene.
“Such situations are becoming a trend. It is not a good example to the younger generation,” said Ten, an MCA member.
Asked why their group was called ‘No Adulterous President’ and not something more general like ‘No Adulterous Leader’, they replied that the acronym ‘NAP’ was catchier compared to ‘NAL’.
So looks like the Wanita movement is also against the Pornsident judging from her appointment . So its not only the OTK's supporters , these women who are align to OKT and LTL are also not with the Pornsident .

Why should people who are unhappy about the tainted leader be blamed for being clean for the good of the party. Is there a conspiracy to buttress/entrench immoral leaders at the helm of leadership. Why should it be anyone business to support a moral blemish especially a tainted President. Are you supporting gay Presdent if there is one for MCA. Is wrong for hetero... society to support straight sex than homo... Is this all about demoncracy? You are wrong. There is a law in this country to follow - not to subvert/pervert and then turn the perversion into a right and use democracy as a means to sanction those rights. You are minority! So shut up 901 delegates. Your time to dispect MCA is intolerable. May the earth opens beneath and swallow you up?
ReplyDeleteIn a democracy it is the majority votes that will win but not MCA. You know why it is not with MCA. 1. they do't pratise de,mcracy - the 901 support crime first to get to the top. 2. They misinterpret democracy to be anarchy so get those who can destroy order and harmoncy through democratic/majority rule. 3. Those who vote for suppressed /deviant democracy are sinister and evil - their aim is to subvert/destroy for revenge/hatred and long term financial gains. 4. They have misguided idea of an imperfect society using imperfect idealogy to churn supposedly perfect or would be cleansed blemish society. This is just the opposite of what is accepted as a norm in society. Majority rule by hook or by crook is never about democracy, it is a deep ploy to bring about destruction of what is good and majority support is never alway right. And here's is this one for you MCA - it hasn't never been right for a tainted/immoral person to be top leader/President of a political party.

Surely a simple case like this dont have to take 3 or 4 mths to wrap it up. Either its a corruption case or not, the public need to know. Its show how inefficiency macc. And so many cases brought b4 court cant convict offenders. Something is seriously wrong with their investigations and prosecutions. BUCK UP, MACC!!!

ReplyDeleteCSL only garnered 900 votes. You have to minus out one vote that he cast for himself. And if you minus still again for votes cast by his cronies, it will leave him not many votes to count for.
All in all you all cannot accept defeat. Most of the people here are anti-democracy, democracy to them means getting things done according to their way even if their the minority. It is the minority rule like apartheid in South Africa at one time.

See what happens in Thailand, How chaotic and turbulent the country has become. Ever since the majority winner- PM Thaksin was forcefully overthrown, there is no peace in Thailand. The minority power-hungary people tried to overturn the government by doing to court and election commission, they have won some how bcos King Bhumipol is assisting them.
But the majority is not with the government, it cannot last.

ReplyDeleteAll CSL supporters are as guilty as the man himself. Now they talk about democracy to live out their support and can't even recognise that democracy is also about right and wrong and the moral issues. And why they want to choose the best candidate for Hulu Selangor in term of morals and ability but not MCA and CSL is not even clever or capable enough as an ordinary party post holder and what more to say about being a leader and of course one can do is talk and talk and on and about nothing which appears to be something which in fact is all about politiking and kicking out side issues to drown the rakyat - example invite NGO to the Presidential council meetings to listen to government policy being discussed - sidetrack and non issues to build own selfish image after fallen from grace.
