Tee Keat claims fresh polls was his idea
I agree that's the only way of removing thorns and worms from MCAAnd the resignation was anticipated if you can recall that CSL has hold on to his words that he prefers a fresh election after March .

KUALA LUMPUR, March 4 — Embattled MCA president Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat has said that fresh polls was his idea all along, after his deputy Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek and 20 other central committee members quit today.
Today’s resignations have triggered party polls which must be held within a month as stipulated by the MCA constitution.
Dr Chua’s men, along with 12 other CC members led by vice-president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai, insisted today that the party’s leadership debacle can only be solved through fresh polls.
In a posting on his blog today, Ong (picture) said he was the first to throw in the idea but it was met with “resistance from various quarters”.
“I was the first to call for fresh polls on Oct 15, 2009 and this was met with strong resistance from various quarters. At that time, I had said that we should be mindful of the timing of the poll and get the party’s priorities right,” he said.
“Fresh poll is one of the options for a democratic solution to the MCA debacle,” added the MCA president.
Ong said he and his supporters had been anticipating the move for some time now.
“Now that a fresh party election has been set in motion, it is time for us to ensure that the election is conducted in a fair and proper manner and with regard to due process.”
The MCA leadership crisis was triggered by the intense rivalry between Ong and Dr Chua .
It became a protracted crisis following the reversal of Dr Chua’s sacking. He was sacked for tarnishing the party’s image following his sex DVD scandal.
The MCA crisis has become a major concern for the BN leadership as it fears the problem could jeopardise the already waning Chinese support for the ruling coalition.
MCA had plunged deep into crisis after the Oct 10 extraordinary general meeting (EGM) last year which later saw it split into three factions — the third led by Liow — after Ong and his estranged deputy Dr Chua reconciled.
The situation worsened after Ong sacked Wanita chief Datin Paduka Chew Mei Fun and Youth chief Datuk Wee Ka Siong from the presidential council.
Dr Chua said that all MCA members must remember that what was important was the party and not the leaders or their self-interests.
ReplyDeleteDr Chua.....why are you not practicing what you have said, by forcing a re-election, the risk of damaging the party is very high and going for presidential post is not self-interest then what? If you walk the talk, then you should leave it as status quo, obey and support your president. If you Dr Chua can do that then MCA will be very strong, even UMNO will kowtow to MCA. The problems with MCA today is because rascals of your type are playing dirty politic and fighting for power, in this fresh election how much money are going to throw. Who is the supporting you to dispose OTK ???
You can fuck around with MCA people but you don't dare fuck with the Chinese community with your nuisance.
well looks like OTK got kanned by CSL.. CSL is a good fcker whatever h0le be it.
ReplyDeleteJT4OTK let's see you spin out some more rhetorics. OTK is going down & PKFZ will disappear into a hole.
Correct! Otk did wanted a fresh polls after the EGM but it was Liow and his factions that got greedy and wanted OTK alone to step down. Which inadvertantly makes OTK a scapegoat for the animosity with CSL. Furthermore, the 2 third CC members refused to resign to make way for the fresh Polls.
ReplyDeleteWhat choice has OTK has in the end? Broker a deal with CSL! A garland move!
The Chinese Community must accept the fact that Malaysia is a corrupted country and therefore are subject to very unfair tactics manipulated by people with money.
So, Heroes such as from the PKFZ scandal will be hanged instead of being rewarded.
No matter who wins the president chair, the PKFZ scandal will not be solved as long as BN is the government. Please don't make OTK a hero for PKFZ.
ReplyDeleteI will not support MCA if CSL become No 1 and LTL become No 2. Instead I will fight...
ReplyDeleteSleeping with your enemy ----- this is the curtain call.
ReplyDeleteNow even CL claim that it was his idea to have fresh election. CSL has no credibility as he did not even resign but put the blame on his machai for not resigning and now he claim that he has been receiving resignation since January. What a spinner!!! you want this guy to be your president?!
Now his machai all wake up already and ready to fight --- after he went round Malaysia to meet the people -- thanks to OTK's appointment.
JT4OTK let's see you spin out some more rhetorics. OTK is going down & PKFZ will disappear into a hole.

So why don't you go back and ask your taikor whoever he is and make him your hero ! boy ! maybe someday and very soon you'll be find yourself in a rat hole among all the rats .
Anon 10.14,
ReplyDeleteThere is no hero in MCA and you will never find one as long as MCA is stamped under UMNO's foot...understand?
VERY SIMPLE, if CSL and Liow are together in the lead of MCA, all your grass root supporters will go down. I will not vote for MCA whoever the reprsenatative is as it clearly shows that all of you are in just for power and position and not for the praty nor for the people.
