Justice4otk says : Correctly Analysed . This is a piece of a well thought , well spoken , correct analysis , of the current situation in MCA .
Delegates might support Dr Chua Soi Lek previously for the the Deputy President's post but whether they will support him again for the President's post is left to be seen since the one going for the Presidency MUST be seen and deem to be clean and not tarnished or blemished by SEX scandals .
On another issue when CSL went round campaigning before 10/10/09 , he managed to win SYMPATHY votes painting OTK as being the bully for sacking him . Many delegates felt that OTK was wrong in sacking him and many voted for him CSL to send a subtle message to the President to protest .
Today OTK is seen as being bullied by those bullies ( you know who those bullies are ) and being made a victim of their ceaseless quest for power at the expense of the Chinese Community. This is the time I hope the CDs can show their sympathy to the President by supporting him .
And for those who have received money from the Tua Peh Kong , well take it as an ang pow but vote for the guy who has not given you any money . This is called killing two birds with one stone . You benefit as well as the Chinese people benefit for voting the correct person . DAP strategy , take the BN car to vote for the opposition . Take the money from whoever gives you and vote for Tee Keat .
THE 'kingmakers' of the MCA, whether from within or without, have always paid a heavy price at the general elections for having insulted and abused the intelligence of the Chinese voters and the community.
The comedy of (former deputy president) Dr Chua Soi Lek and (former vice-president) Liow Tiong Lai boycotting the party’s AGM, sheepishly followed by the heads of the Youth and Women’s wings, is an indication of how far down these leaders have degenerated into the gutter level of subservient politics.
One cannot but question the motives of these political comedians when they and their supporters submitted their resignation as central committee members a few days before the s AGM.
These same political charlatans have previously agreed to hold the AGM on March 7.
Their infantile theatrics
The AGM is the highest decision making body of the party, for that matter any organisation.
So, what was it that instilled so much fear (or what were the inducements offered by the kingmakers) that they deemed it fit to scuttle the AGM at the 11th hour?
In their attempts to embarrass and humiliate the president, they have actually insulted the Chinese community by their infantile theatrics!
They could still have their elections after the AGM, by having 21 members of the central committee resign in accordance with the party’s constitution.
But, it is a reflection of their stupidity and mental subservience to outside forces to think that by toppling the president, party unity will be achieved by a new team of second rate leaders, not yet matured enough to assume leadership roles.
Tragic blunder against Chinese support
Time after time, when the Barisan Nasional was perceived as having screwed up the electorate, the Chinese voters would take it out on the MCA, even though the party may not be responsible for the mistakes made.
In 1999, when the Malay voters swung to Anwar, the Chinese rallied behind Dr Mahathir Mohamad for his tremendous efforts in overcoming the financial crisis of 1997/1998 by way of showing their appreciation.
The voters swung against the Barisan Nasional in March, 2008 because of the inept leadership of the fifth prime minister Abdullah Badawi. But the MCA and Gerakan paid heavily for Abdullah's mistakes.
It is utmost stupidity - if not political suicide - to humiliate the MCA when the non-bumiputera and non-Muslims voters have yet to swing back to the Barisan Nasional.
It may be that the kingmakers take the view that a compliant MCA will help make Umno look stronger and in control, thereby securing back Malay votes.
There may be other considerations but if the net result is the humiliation of MCA, then it is a strategic blunder and it will be next to impossible to win back the support of the Chinese voters.
If the kingmakers really think that non-Muslims votes are irrelevant, think again. Swing votes win elections, especially when the opposing parties are evenly matched.
Be assured that the likes of Chua Soi Lek, Liow Tiong Lai, Wee Ka Siong and Chew Mei Fun will be defeated at the next general elections.
I forecasted the massacre of MCA candidates in the March 2008 elections, on the Wednesday preceding polling day and I was proven right.
Count on it that I will be spot on in my forecast again for the next general elections. And because of this fiasco, the result of stupid meddling of kingmakers within and without MCA, there will be a hung Parliament, a first in Malaysian politics!
Barisan Nasional is forewarned!

ReplyDeleteNo. the chinese are venting their spleen on characters like Chow Mei Fun, Ong Kata Nothing, WKS, Chan kong Choi and Chua Soil lek. Plus all their collective ilks and rent seekers.
AH Piau
Matthias is dead right. If ever CSL or OKT becomes the President, it is the end of MCA. These selfish leaders never learn their lessons, only safeguarding their personal interests at the expense of MCA and the Chinese Community. CDs please wake up.
ReplyDeleteOTEEKIAT is again screwed by CSL.....

Ka Ting Slams MCA Leadership For Passing The Buck ...and
And what did your girlfriend say ? Yip qui...
When Dr Chua was the Health Minister, he loudly preaches safe sex but he was caught fucking the prostitute without using condom. Here again reveal his hypocrisy. He now sermon about forgives and forgets but he went on to fight and stabbed the back of the sitting president who sincerely make every effort to accommodate him and his gang. He is not only a traitor but a very good liar as well, how many time does this rascal have to insulted the intelligence of the community. The CDs clearly make a mistake by making this man the deputy president and again reinstate him as a MCA member. That make him more arrogant, he carried a shameful tag and now he want MCA to wear that tag as well. Those CDs who put him to where he is today should redeem by rejecting this evil fellow during the coming MCA election.....and vote for Tee Keat to continua with his commendable mission to bring honour and dignity to MCA as well as the Chinese community.

ReplyDeleteThe recycled politicians in MCA
'An ex-MCA president who led his party to an unprecedented defeat in the March 8 general election can still be in demand in the party. This shows that MCA has no talent to lead...'
Ka Ting joins fray, to go for No 1
Sunshine: Tell us again: Why did you leave in the first place?
Ng Seng Tong: Ong Ka Ting has never been known to be a fighter-all-the-way when it comes to presenting issues of the Chinese community to the Umno/BN government. Yes, Umno would hear him out, but that's about all.
Umno would not listen to him, thus, all issues affecting the Chinese are ignored. Wasn't he the president of MCA just before the last held general election? If he had represented the Chinese effectively, MCA would not have been trashed in the general election.
Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak prefers him rather than Ong Tee Keat because he is easier meat to chew. MCA members, don't be short-sighted. In your earnest desire to get over the in-fighting in your party by electing him, you are going to be frustrated with him and his way of forever kowtowing to Umno. Please check his track record in this area.
Azmil Tayeb: There it goes. The Umno running dog is contesting. If he takes over MCA, then the results of the next general election will be the last election for MCA. The party will be finally put to rest and cremated.
Changeagent: Ong Ka Ting's comeback statement is so predictable and cliched. Of course, it's the party delegates who have 'urged him to do so'. Never mind the fact that it was under his helm that MCA was almost obliterated in the last general elections.
Instead of listening to the party delegates only, it would be wise for him to also listen to the larger Chinese community. They do not trust him nor his leadership capabilities. Is that message loud and clear enough for Ka Ting?
Rayfire: I sincerely hope that MCA members will decide to reject all of them! Why is there a need to replace one lap dog with another? Both Ong Tee Keat and Ong Ka Ting lack the qualities needed to lead the party out of its miserable state. Chua Soi Lel also lacks credibility.
MCA members, please don't waste your energy and vote on these losers. Please look for more credible leaders. If you can't find one who really has the ability to lead, I suggest you leave and find different avenues to be of service to your community.
All these rejects have one thing in common: they all accept orders blindly from their master (Umno). Please reject them if you really love and care for your community and Malaysia.
Habib RAK: The best thing for OKT (Ong Ka Ting) to do to help MCA members is to quit BN and be an NGO. Being a lapdog to Umno is simply helping it to screw the Chinese community.
Mari Cari Amoi: What has Ong Ka Ting done for the community during his tenure besides being a good lap dog? Just because he is not holding a position now in MCA does not means he is an angel and can be a saviour. The best solution for MCA is close shop and distribute its RM2 billion assets.
ReplyDeleteLong Arm: MCA is at it again. Ever wondered why so many people give all they've got for this position? It is the same for every BN position, the head automatically will become a millionaire during his tenure and after his retirement. The prize is for selling the Chinese Malaysian community to Umno.
Beetle: I wonder why these MCA leaders are still fighting to lead a so-called Chinese party when it does not have the support of the Chinese. People are now supporting multi-racial parties with leaders who are incorruptible.
Whoever seeks to lead MCA will face total humiliation and be whitewashed in the 13th general election. Can't they even read the sentiments of the people? Or are the temptations of power and money so great that they have blinded them?
Kgen: Look at these clowns jostling to see who can be 'The Last Malaysian Eunuch' before MCA is swept to the dustbins of history along with Umno and the rest of BN.
1melayu: MCA does not have the Chinese' support. He is not doing it for his community. He is doing it for himself. Ong Ka Ting, as they say, "you can fool some of the people some of the time, some of the people all the time, but never all the people all the time."
Justine: He is out to destroy MCA. The last time he led the party, it was nearly wiped out. He killed off capable leaders like Jimmy Chua (Jui Meng), Fong Chan Onn, Ting Chew Peh and replaced them with incapable youngsters, leaving the party in such a sorrowful state of affairs.
Gk: An ex-MCA president who led his party to an unprecedented defeat in the March 8 general election can still be in demand in the party. This shows that MCA has no talent left to lead the party, to the extent it still requires (or no other choices) adulterer, loser and a Brutus.
Cala: What is missing from Ka Ting's pledges? Ka Ting justifies his return from retirement to join in the fray of the March 28 party election for presidency by making known his grounds:
i) to work toward curtailing excessive presidential powers; and
ii) to restore MCA's institutional environment where a general assembly runs supreme to president and party exco (Williamson, 2000).
Say what you like, these are good enough reasons for the past president to make a comeback. No one can fault him. In so doing, he gives a tight slap on OTK for abusing his power during his stint as president, and one more slap on each OTK and CSL respectively for ignoring decisions taken at the Oct 10, 2009 EGM.
In this regard, Ka Ting's pledge to right the wrong is laudable. But something is missing. I think he has to declare in what way he will lead the party out of current doldrums to fight in the 13th general elections. To me, that is the bigger battlefield, and one that is fraught with danger.
Tey Khang Fai: OKT, have you sense of shame? You have not done anything for the Chinese community during your few terms as president. Save some face for the Chinese in Malaysia so that we don't have a lot to explain to our next generation.
Cks: It was reported that OKT met Najib just yesterday; presumably to get his endorsement for his comeback. It is so him, so MCA!
Tkc: Bravo. MCA is now certified green because we have recycled politicians. Joke aside, if Ka Ting is elected, there will be no further action on the PKFZ scam.
If Ong Ka Ting wins, Chan Kong Choy and Tiong King Sing will be celebrating. Whew! what close shave for them. If Ong Ka Ting wins, it will be the second charge of PKFZ. More billions again.
ReplyDeleteAnyone here running bets on this election. I want to place some bets. This is better than a dog race.
ReplyDelete>>>>>Time after time, when the Barisan Nasional was perceived as having screwed up the electorate, the Chinese voters would take it out on the MCA, even though the party may not be responsible for the mistakes made.<<<<<<<<<<<
ReplyDeleteWhy shouldn't the Chinese do that?
Why shouldn't the Chinese punish the running dogs?
Malays bullying Chinese is one matter.
Chinese help Malays to bully other Chinese, hey, that's exactly what MCA has been doing, for the past 60 years !!
For the past 60 years how much MCA has already betrayed the Chinese?
We went from Citizens to become "Pendatang".
We went from owning our own business to see our businesses given to the Malays.
We went from our children go studying in Universities to our children are NOT allow to study there because they are not Malays.
Everywhere you look, you see signs of how much the Chinese have suffered defeats; And behind each and all event, you see the fingerprints of MCA collaborating with UMNO to oppress the Chinese.
Why shouldn't the Chinese take their revenge on the running dogs in MCA?
Enough of self-serving politicians all claiming to be saviours of the MCA. In the first place it is they who brought about the chaos in the party through repeated attempts to topple the duly elected president. They should have instead mount their challenge in the next party elections if they think so highly of themselves as better leaders.
ReplyDeletePerhaps it is time to form another party to represent all commnunities & races with members sharing the same ideals - a truly united Malaysian party. This party should not form pacts with parties like PAS, DAP, PKR and exclude self-serving politicians or the proverbial "kataks". If it takes 50 years or more to be a force to be reckoned with, so be it.
