Phang, The Star can comment on Wee, PKFZ

KUALA LUMPUR, March 10 — MCA Youth chief Datuk Wee Ka Siong’s chief critic and The Star newspaper are free to comment on him and the Port Klang Free Zone (PKFZ) scandal pending the hearing of a defamation suit this April 5.
Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission panel adviser and Social Care Foundation chairman Tan Sri Robert Phang Miow Sin said today that as there was no order barring him from doing so, he would exercise his full right without fear or favour.
“I will challenge him (Wee) all the way. There is no fear. As an MP, it is his statutory duty to come forward to the MACC for investigation; the MACC must be supported all the way in its fight against corruption,” he said at the Kuala Lumpur High Court today.
The KL High Court today fixed April 5 for the suit as well as to hear the inter parte injunction to bar Phang and Star Publications (M) Bhd from making and publishing defamatory statements linking Wee to the scandal.
The court also decided it would hear Wee’s application for an interim injunction for a gag order on Phang and Star Publications and applications made by defendants to set aside the earlier ex parte injunction for a similar order that was granted to Wee on Jan 22.
Phang’s counsel Gobind Singh said that the ex parte injunction, after having been effective for 21 days, was no longer valid as Wee had earlier failed in his bid to extend it.
“This means that as of now, there is no restraint on either party to speak on this matter until the court makes its decision on April 5,” he told reporters outside the court this morning.
The door is open for Wee bashing and whacking ! Come one , come all , let join hands together to rid this pest from MCA !
Bashing WKS is one thing.

Wee is vicious and has a motive to take over OTK Transport Ministry if OTK can be forced to resign. This is because he is a Phd in Transportation.WICKED BASTARD! May his wife born a son with no back side.

If you want to talk about fairness, let's talk about it ...
Is it fair to ALL OTHER MCA MEMBERS for WKS to step all over them?
There are many more MCA members who have joined MCA longer than WKS.
There are many more MCA members who have contributed MORE to MCA than WKS.
Why then WKS got all the chances and the other members don't?
Where is the fairness in that?
As I said in the first message, bashing WKS without self-introspection won't do anyone any justice.
If MCA is to become strong again, MCA must realize ALL ITS WEAKNESSES and strive to correct it.
Bashing someone is easy, especially what I am reading in this blog.
Bashing people by saying dirty words, by paying tributes to their wives / mothers / daughters, is very easy.
Even primary school kids can do that.
But is it going to benefit MCA?
Why are you guys here?

Or to find ways to help MCA to become stronger?

ReplyDeleteThere is no doubt that OTK is aware of our predicaments and the difficult situation he is facing today is the results of trying to make it right. Clearly many people within MCA as well as outside forces are determine to halt his efforts of reasons they know best.
ReplyDeleteThe moment CSL stop his stunt, I believe half the battle will be won by MCA. OTK is fighting on one front, the PKFZ issue. The deputy instead of supporting the President efforts you have people like him capitalizing the situation by attacking the president on other front. That effectively take away the President energy which otherwise will be put to good use for affair concerning the rakyat.
We all are definitely concerns as it involve our livelihood and the future of the nation. Debates, discussions, dialogues and etc, etc, etc have been going on and on and what do we see is still the same story.
We should not let OTK carry the burden alone, we should put some on our shoulder to deal with the immediate situation. As such I am calling upon all people to turn around the MCA Central Delegates to support OTK as the President of MCA. We talk to our relatives, our friends and our colleagues to talk to the Central Delegate who they know to vote for OTK in the forthcoming election.

Temerloh MCA division chief Datuk Chuah Boon Seong said he was aware of the show of support in Mentakab.
“As individuals and not party members, they are free to do so.
“We have no problem with that but personally, I am with the president’s struggles and his reforms,” he said.
Chuah said he hoped for a clean and fair party elections and would support the new leadership regardless of who was at helm.
