How can you change people when all the facts are there and they still think otherwise ? Don't waste time , these people are beyond change .. gone case and really no hope .
JUSTICE FOR ALL said... I have read so many negative comments by Anons who are confrontational and pessimistic. I sincerely hope that they would react positively to negative situations. Provide some constructive ideas or suggestions or at least give some morale support to leaders who are willing to change to provide the leaderships the Chinese community needs now. If we do not start we are not going anywhere at all.
I bet they haven't read what I wrote in my previous articles but before I go to my previous articles , I like to respond to these :
It has never questioned on BTN and other issues like missing jet engines, etc. BTN as I wrote before is not on the Chinese but targeting the Opposition , like LKS and Anwar , that's why BN doesn't talk about BTN and missing engines ? What has MCA got to do with missing engines ? Must be a nut to ask this question . There are more important issues affecting the Chinese rather than missing engines . Real nut !
The guillotine is about to fall irrespective of the time fram given to them and the verdict is clear for the last 5 decades or more. See what I wrote before on the 5 decades or more issue !
On Education :
This is what I wrote here : This is the work of a cult that exists in PR , such that when they fart it smells like perfume , and when BN farts , no matter how nice it smells to them it sure stinks all the way to kingdom come .
But let me say this , no two persons journeys are alike , back in the old days we didn't have any scholarships to put us through university , it is thru the toil and hardships of our parents . The MCA in the process of ensuring our Chinese is NOT left out in the paper chase has set up TAR college , University TAR to provide affordable College and Univerity education for those who cannot go overseas financially . Also the MCA has managed to get the Government to recognise those with degrees from Taiwan and Chinese Univeristies . Also thru the efforts of the MCA , many Institutions of Higher Learning has been set up with twinning to Foreign Universities and getting degrees from these foreign universities by having to do the final year abroad .
On the 5 decades or more issue !
Those PR chaps used to start their comments like this MCA has been selling off the Chinese for the last 50 years .
My response is and always has been the same , last 50 years ? immediately after independence ? during Tunku's time ? It's hell of a crab , what these guys have been trying to spin . to this I have this to say :
In 2004 GE when Tun M stepped down and Pak Lah took over , didn't BN won with an overwhelming majority until even all the Big Wits in PKR , DAP got hammered and had to limp away . In Penang they lost all except one seat which was won by Phee .
Did that win showed the unhappiness and disappointment of the Chinese towards the MCA over the last 50 years with all the racial and ketuanan Melayu issues ? Hardly ....So this is just a myth..all was forgotten , hardly anyone brought up the issue that the Chinese were fed up with the BN .
However in 2008 , the tsunami came , but it was not for a government change , the voters were fed up after giving Pak Lah an overwhelming support which was was NOT reciprocated by his promises he made . It was a real complete let down . The timing and the conditions were perfect to teach BN a lesson . UMNO had their internal problems , so were MIC , Gerakan and MCA . Many MCA candidates were kicked out by their own MCA members because they happen to be the stooges of the Ong Brothers Sdn Bhd . They didn't field capable candidates who won with big majorities , instead they chose to field young , untested candidates whom Ong Ka Ting could control with ease and submitted to him .
And then there was the embracing picture of Ka Ting and Kerismuddin together with the latter holding up the Keris which was one of the main factors , voters got pissed off .
Gerakan had their own problems too , naming four possible CM material which saw their downfall through back stabbing and their submission to UMNO .
Another usual comment is to "Ask MCA to leave BN "
On this issue if one were to look far is very detrimental to the Chinese . If MCA were to leave BN , we are creating an opening for PAS to re-enter BN to fill the void left open by MCA . Remember the issue between Hadi and Tok ? where Hadi and company were contemplating of rejoining UMNO . If PAS were to join UMNO/BN at the expense of MCA , we will be having Malays controlling the Federal Govt while the Chinese and Indians will become the Opposition which is in effect have NO say at all in the running of the govt and becoming just another loudspeaker or wailer . Kelantan , Kedah , Selangor , Perak , Trengganu , Perlis , Pahang will become totally Malay controlled State Governments without any single Chinese representative .
In spite of all acussations of MCA selling out the Chinese , see above comments posted by one commenter , believe to be a DAP cult supporter , despite our limitations , our handicapped , the Chinese in Malaysia have managed to overcome all these to prosper and grow . The Chinese has become the largest contributor to the Income Tax Dept in Malaysia . Chinese owned companies form the largest segments in the Bursa Malaysia . Chinese in Malaysia have still retained their Chinese names , their culture , their language and their Chinese schools . Isn't this all thru the participation , efforts and work of MCA in BN !
And to say MCA is still the same, with the same type of rotten leaders, from Ong Tee Keat down to the branch bosses. smirks of a racist , hell bent on getting rid of MCA and to lump Ong Tee Keat with the rest of the Ex MCA leaders and some current leaders must have come from a mentally deranged idiot .
Please be aware of these PR anonymous cyber troopers who will invade blocks to sell their wares .... That is why I said I will response in two days time just to see what else they are posting .
They are worried if Ong Tee Keat were to remain and come out unscathed from all these internal bickering , MCA will be getting back lost territory in the coming GE , so stay alert and repulse these troopers .
Finally I hope he reads this article : MORAL FOR TODAY here
J4OTK
ReplyDeleteYou have to be resilient and very patient with them as the more those Anons talked the more they sound like desperadoes. They reflect on the majority of their leaders' mentality who are just harping on the past without any initiative to correct whatever shortcomings the nation is facing.
Now that we know their weaknesses and true colours we have to reserve some of our energy for the battle in GE 13.
We are behind you J4OTK.
Anon 4:08,
ReplyDeleteWell said. I sincerely hope with the coming 2010 let us all forget the past and start a new beginning and united under a new MCA and gear for the coming GE 13. Activate the GUP with due honesty and sincerety for sake of the Chinese Community.
J4MAL,
ReplyDeleteI call for MCA leaders to put up their action plans on what they want to acheive for Malaysians. Put a time line for discussions and who is responsible and keep all update in the web every 2 months on the progress.
I see that BN has opened up for Chinese and Indians on certain area but it is because PR has been hot on heels. BN has no choice but to be more liberal. (Please do not say BN open up willingly for the time being).
If and only if, BN make the change and make it a policy and not depanding on who the PM is, then I would say change has come from BN.
Is it deal. Constructive enough??
I hope I hape contributed a little and more to come if you take it up the above from here.
For info, the above is actual KPI and KRA thing BN is implementing.
JJ
If MCA attitude is the same as j4otk, then habis lah.
ReplyDeleteOn BTN J4OTK said it targeted only the opposition and Annuar. Didn't the course includes civil servants and undergraduates and this means chinese and other races included. Why Koh Tsu Khoon of Gerakan sometimes coined as puppet was able to speak out on BTN and not MCA. Sounds ridiculous.
ReplyDeleteOn Education: Why glorified on helping TAR to help chinese students. Simple fact is many student who have done well were being marginalised and not able to do the course of their even though they were qualified. Obviously there are selective procedures to sideline chinese students over Malays. Is it preferable to study in TAR or in Local public universities. Students have to pay more to go to TAR than local Uni, at leat 4 to 5 tmes more. Besides many who went to Tar are either due to no choice or they are not good students. Moreover many of the courses are not recognised and therefore not prestigious. So why glory in helping to go to TAR and not to local Uni/colleges. Is not MCA part of the Government who are helpless when it comes to the prejudiced regime of Armno.
On missing jet engines: Are they not of public concern and injustice to corrupt away taxpayers' money> Why this issue is said to be not very important to MCA. It is really ridiculous. So what can MCA do if it can't do little thingshow can it perform slighly bigger thing. Pleae humble up?
Anon 2.15.
ReplyDeleteWHAT'S WRONG WITH TAR OR UTAR?!!!! MCA has the vision and initiative to own her own college and university to serve the nation especially the Chinese community so that they have more options if they fail to secure favourable courses in the public universities. The govt through the effort of MCA has been accomodating lately and of course you cannot have the whole cake and eat it yourself. The present leadership under OTK MCA will be able to serve more effectively if everyone gives the party the much needed morale support. Politics is a number game. So if you want MCA to serve would you please give your support rather being irrational.
What have the parties you idolised done for the community thus far?
There are many who share their opinions and not necesarily aligned to the opposition DAP or PKR. What they are interested is getting out ideas so MCA as the major represtative of the chinese community can work towards solving some of the outstanding dilemna of the chinese and their families. It appears that J4OTK is rather uptight when it comes MCA inabilty to perform as highlighted however such exposure is actually useful and helpful as a torch to guide MCA.
ReplyDeleteThe problem of Chinese inability to go to local government universities is the problem long outstanding in the eyes of chinese community and of course Utar as it is called now has helped those chinese who has no choice in getting to public schools/universities, what about those many many chinese students who merited a public education with ambition can't get what they want which is rightly their rights under the Federal Constitution which uphold equal rights and opportunities for all Malaysians. Don't you think the Party should create a firestorm of protest on this particular issue? Why glorified in setting up Utar as as escape route that many do not want to go in the first place = until no choice. In 2005 over 128 students who were qualified to take medicine were not selected to public unversities whereas those with less than meritorious results get admitted. Do UTARR offer medicine courses. Fight for the chinese and don't make excuses by usng Utar or saying we have own university is the whole point of the chinese dilemma now and in the past. Utar can be a college for the not so smart students. It is very wrong to think of taking away the future of chinese students and its better rice bowl from them and only content with with less than superior education. You ask what is wrong, it is all very wrong that many chinese can become doctors and lawyers and perhaps pharmacist and engineers get a mediocre education unbefitting or matching the quality of their minds and once a wrong choice/alternatives are made due to bias/ prejudice their futur are compromised and that is the worse that can happen to a young and promising life. Let all chinese think about this. The past chinese whose education have been hampered do not like MCA to commit their children and their children's generation to be under educational duress just because Arm No has a big fat stick that stump all opportunities and equal rights. What can MCAdo to enlighten.redress on this issue which is of paramount importance to the Chinese.
MCA did right in founding TAR and UTAR. But do you know that these are hotbed for DAP supporters. This is karma.
ReplyDeleteMCA needs to reinvent, reengineer and revitalize with relevant bureaus assigned to capable and responsible leaders to take charge. The education bureau should come out with comprehensive programmes to guide or assist students in the two tertiary institutions. Most of the MCA state education bureau now are not functioning up to expectation.
