Phang dares Wee and Chew to an open forum
PETALING JAYA: Chinese community leader Tan Sri Robert Phang has challenged MCA leaders Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong and Datin Paduka Chew Mei Fun to participate in an open forum to discuss the party crisis.
Phang said he would arrange the time, date and venue for Dr Wee and Chew to meet with the Chinese community and group leaders.
Dr Wee is the party Youth chief, while Chew is the Wanita MCA chairman.
“The duties of MCA leaders are to ensure and protect the interest of the Chinese community.
"Wee Ka Siong thinks that he is the boss of the Chinese community, rather than one who works for the betterment of the Chinese community".“It is normal for the two to be questioned or criticised by the community leaders,” said the Social Care Foundation chairman.
He added that the two must accept his challenge to interact with Chinese community leaders.
On Chew’s comment that he (Phang) should not criticise because he did not understand the current party crisis, Phang said:
“I am part of the Chinese community and I have the absolute right to criticise and make suggestions.”
Brutus Wee and Chewy , please show us you have balls to accept the invitation otherwise you are a good for nothing scroundrel with only one exception , and that is you are a professional back stabber , must have learnt from Jack The Ripper .

As politicians wanting the support of the community , you have to hear what the community wants or be questioned . Not the other way round or have your head grown so big that you have become a humpty dumpty ?Fishes needs water to survive , when out of water they will have to go back to water for their survival , similarly , all politicians needs to go back to the community or to their electorate to get their support and votes .
Looks like you two lovers are so deeply in love and inseparable that both of you have become blinded .

ReplyDeleteThere is one very important sentence from Phang that the STAR has censored out:
"Wee Ka Siong thinks that he is the boss of the Chinese community, rather than one who works for the betterment of the Chinese community".
This sentence worth much more than the other worthless sentences combined !

LTL talks about upholding democracy. But what is democracy? Following the wishes of the majority and respecting the constitution of the party endorsed by the delegates during AGM and approved by ROS, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteGUP has been deliberated and endorsed by the CCMs therefore LTL, CMF and WKS ought to support it as the principal office bearers of the party. Failure to do so contravene Sub Article 9.3 of MCA constitution. I am perplexed as what is he trying to prove.
Summon them officially to declare their stand. Then the party should act quickly and decisively, constitutionally.
Brutus LTL, WKS, CMF must accept the challenges and be judge by the community. WKS had conveniently forgotten that he is voted in to represent the community. By saying that Phang is not a party member and therefore no right to interfere, WKS is implying that he only represent MCA members. There you go. A "leader" who only have self interest but not the community!!

ReplyDeleteThe number of the initial requisitionists were 16 but at the material time when he sent out the notices only 12 are incumbent after 4 of them have been relieved of their appointments.

Sometimes I wondered where is Wong Chun Wai ??? I have yet to see a good article from him supporting Ong Tee Keat in his blog .
I think the Hell MInister has gone nuts , need to be admitted into the Mental Hospital . Please send an ambulance to take him to Tanjong Rambutan . I pay for the costs .
