KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 8 — MCA president Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat said 29 central committee members (CC) have given their support to the party’s Greater Unity Plan (GUP).
He said the fact that 29 of the 42 CC members had given their support in writing showed that more were in favour of the plan.
On the planned second extraordinary general meeting (EGM), Ong said although the group had received more than one-third support from CC members, it was not the only issue.
“The EGM is to solve the problem, not create one. It was the legal bureau which said that the EGM resolutions are against the party constitution, not me,” he said when launching a lifelong health carnival here today.
The transport minister stressed that any action to be taken should be in accordance with the party constitution.
He said the legal bureau had studied resolutions for the second EGM and told CC members that they were against the party constitution.
The group supporting MCA vice president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai planned to hold the EGM on Nov 28 to get the mandate for fresh party elections. — Bernama

The FGZs are still claiming that they have 16 CCs, including the 4 who were sacked by OTK.

In other words, the FGZs are SELLING OUT the interests of MCA in favor of arm no !!!!!!!!!
What they are doing can me summarize in this "sugguh mempersiasuikan".
If LTL & gang truly believe in democracy, they would have abandoned all futile actions like EGM.

The fact that LTL & Co are today remain recalcitrant, and refused to accept the OTK-CSL united team for the sake of MCA...gives rise to my suspicion that behind them there are some "HIDDEN HANDS" which are ambitious, rich and powerful.
Otherwise, OTK-CSL united team would have CRASHED them (LTL & Co) easily, like a landrover runs over chickens in Gombak!

MCA members when are you going to wake up from your deep slumber and shoot down those wild monkeys from further battering the already heavily damage ship.
It is good news that the number of CCMs who are supportive of GUP has increased. GUP task force should be more tactful and engaging especially with the CCMs who are still apprehensive about the plan. Be more understanding towards them. Talk to them with compassion as I am sure some of them have been misled and misguided.
ReplyDeleteBut...LTL, WKS and CMF seem to have blatantly disregard the voice of the majority to close rank. Being disrespectful to the extend of showing defiance towards the party's decision concerning the 2nd EGM and the GUP can no longer be tolerated.
They keep on saying that the EGM has the support of 16 CCMs which is not true at all. Could LTL name the 16 incumbent CCMs supporting him now? 12CCMs of 42 CCMs is not MAJORITY.
Collecting money from the public without the consent of the party is again illegal.
True to what WKS said, they are not going to follow the constitution of the party now. They must have POWERFUL CONNECTION to be above the constitution and law of the country.

Please LTL could you name the 16 incumbent CCMs who is supporting the 2nd EGM? 12 CCMs out of 42 CCMs does not mean majority, isn't it? Please wake up from your dream. Collecting donations for the 2nd EGM without the written consent of the Party is illegal. Calling the 2nd EGM with irregularities is unconstitutional. Questioning ROS's interpretation of the party's constitution is uncalled for. Making the about turn to refer to ROS pertaing to the Deputy post is ................

The Britus WNZ during the 1025 CC has voted opposite against Brutus LTL as appointment of Deputy . Now he wants to lead Brutus Gang to call for the EGM1128 and using his legal view saying the EGM he called is lawful and constitutional. I wonder why a lawyer like him can not give a good interpretation of the party constitution while knowing appointment of Brutus LTL may not be suitable at that moment ?

The latest presidential directive of prohibiting the MCA elected representatives from patronizing nightspots is seen as a move to burnish the party’s public image that was once heavily tainted by its triad connection.
Beyond the kudos and brickbats for the said move, little did the public and the party members realize that the immediate past president Ling Liong Sik ( now being conferred the federal award of Tun-ship ) had been one who frequented the nightspots with the company of cronies.
Being alcoholic and of indecent behavior at such spots, ( most of which operated by his close triad-buddy Dato’ Tee Yam who is now under preventive detention over alleged involvement in vice and money laundering activities ) did not seem to disqualify Ling from being conferred such a prestigious award of the highest degree.
Likewise, the present MCA Deputy President Chan Kong Choy, a habitual womanizer who at the same time is purportedly linked to Tee Yam and the underworld is equally immune to any censure against indiscipline among the serving political leaders.
Ong Ka Ting himself would serve as another classic example of such immunity following his exposed triad connection was found to have caused no dent to his ministerial career.

That is a bait to lure the rats out of their holes .
By Ong saying that suddenly you find the rats all appearing out of nowhere showing their true colours . That's politics . If you don't do that , you'll never know who will be one day stabbing your back .
Another possible reason , Ong could be trick into saying that by someone who wanted him to say that by painting it as a good strategy to give the impression he is in a good position , that he will not lose . This is true he would not have lost until those people played him out at the precise time . This is more likely the reason although he didn't say so .
In Fort Hood Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan gone wild and went for massacre spree killing 13 and wounding 29 people. Sgt. Kimberly Munley manage to disable the killer in a face to face gun fight which get herself wounded as well. Her selfless, prompt and bravery act help to prevent more dead and damages.

Brutus CMF want MCA win back " PARTY RESPECT " from public or chinese very simple . MCA has 8 main principles and she looks back at it and how many priciples she has followed ? If Brutus CMF follow 4/8 of the main principle, we can assure her that by MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS then she can see how members can move the party. This is a job of the President to win back the PARTY RESPECT from the public and not the Brutus Gang. As a member of MCA I have been feel shamed in front of chinese already under the helm of LLS & OKT ( CONNECTION TO CORRUPTION & TRIAD ) , I do not want to see it continue again and again . Brutus CMF better quit MCA now sure she can win back a lot of RESPECT from chinese.

What moral lessons had she been teaching the trainee teachers there I do not know.
2. To go against the Constitution of the party is cool and legal.
3. To collect donation from the public without written consent from MCA is legal.
4. To call for meetings with irregularities is legal.
5. To stab your own leader from the back is morally correct.
Can we trust this bunch of bankrupt politicians who twist and turn everything for their own convenience and power craziness?
Do they have the leadership qualities to lead MCA?
Do they possess the stature and righteous principles?
Listen to how and what they talk to the media. Good leaders talk responsibly but they just rumble without thinking of the implications and rightfullness of what they are saying.
They should stop their despicable rigmarole and support the GUP which is inclusive in nature being tabled at the CC meeting by the president and accepted and sanctioned by the Party. The Brutus gang ought to subscribe to the GUP being the principal office bearers, thus respecting the Party. CMF talks without even understanding what she is talking about. She has been going against the Constitution all this while, so much for gaining respect ala CMF. Ridiculous
