KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 18 - Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai today blasted MCA president Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat after the latter reshuffled the presidential council and dropped eight members seen to be aligned to Liow.
In a dramatic press conference which saw axed former presidential council members Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong and Datin Paduka Chew Mei Fun shed tears, Liow spoke of lofty principles such as democracy and lamented the alleged lack of it in MCA. Is Democrazy means rule by the minority ? Liow please don't talk cock here .
“The president elected his own people and eliminated those who disagreed with him so he can have absolute power in the presidential council and absolute power corrupts absolutely,” said Liow. Elected ? Appointed would be correct , however perhaps how could the presidential council function with all your monkeys in there making a mockery of the whole presidential council ?
“MCA is a family at war. MCA is engaging in the politics of slash and burn. The president disowned the youth and wanita. This is a serious matter. And this can be seen as the last straw that broke the camel’s back.”The president disowned two unforgivable , irresponsible , power crazy , mentally retarded idiots . This is not war but rebellion .
Liow urged MCA delegates to “rise up” and turn up in full force at the extraordinary general meeting (EGM) on November 28 that is proposing fresh party polls.
“This is the time to make a decision to change party for better. MCA must return to the politics of values and uphold the fundamental democratic principles,” he said.
Liow however acknowledged that Ong was within his rights as president to appoint new members to the council.
Wee, who used up a pile of tissues during the press conference, pointed out that when the MCA president was the youth chief, he was still elected to the presidential council even though he had conflicts with then president Tun Dr Ling Liong Sik. But he never back stabbed the president . Times are different then , when Ling ghad absolute power and no one dared oppose him .
He vowed to fight on to “return democracy” and prevent the party from being “monopolised” by just a few. Yeah correct , a few meaning the 12 idiots in the CC
A visibly agitated Chew likened the dropping of the youth and women’s wing chiefs from the presidential council as making the “MCA without wings”. Pigs can fly , they don't need wings .
Ong however defended the move saying that “as and when we need to reshuffle, we will do it.” I have no problem with this .Reshuffle , any organisation needs one , once in a while to improve its performance .

Now our PM has intefered with MCA affairs, criticizing OTK's action to sack the Brutuses. It seems Brutuses and PM are one gang?! If that's true, I will frankly say that MCA is really Boh Liao... our PM is playing God now. It think MCA with those Brutuses is a really hopeless party. I despise those crying Brutuses. If Wee is there, MCA is f*cked up together with Tiong.

I wish my post could be read by the 60 mca fresh blood who just have stop their protest in MCA Hq. I joined mca before 30 and like to upheld DEMOCRACY in the party. If I protest like them which helding tonight I believe MCA can be de-registered because we are a team of mca youth members , left the party due to UN-DEMOCRACY IN MCA.It happened during LLS as President and CKC as MCA Youth Chief. I do not want to elobrate now because I still have hope in MCA and hoping the MCA Real Democracy could come in one day . I am holding an Central Delegate but because of DEMOCRACY I give it up after knowing CKC/OKC pratising un-democracy in the party while their post are youth chief and GS. MCA needs new fresh blood very much, if the temple has no monks, but the temple is still there. Go back home now and tell your organiser that you have read my post. I can quote you I met CKC personally in one of the air-port and spoke to him personally and the GS and request them adhere to the party rules, but rather they ignored , they pratising UN-DEMOCRACY ,we have lodged a police report but no action has been taken.

2/ But I read from "MalaysianInsider.Com" that when he was the Youth Chief, OTK organised one EGM to opposed MCA leadership's decision to buy Nanyang Siang Pau:

ReplyDeleteThe EGM against the purchase of Nanyang and China press was called by Team B , headed by the then Dep President Lim Ah Lek , VP Chua Jui Meng , Chan Kong Choy , Youth Chief Ong Tee Keat and many others .
All of us voted against the purchase , not only him and ling won by only a few votes in spite of the fact that TDM came out at the very last minute to say he gave the green light to buy Nanyang and Chian Press .
What team B was against was the pledging of star shares to the bank just to buy and incurring over 200 million in interests alone . This was not a good business deal as only certain people benefited from the deal ie Ling and cronies .
So it is wrong to say the EGM was organised by Ong alone and moreover the EGM was legal because they had over 800 over signatures to call for an EGM , which was more than the required number .

It just doesn't add up. Do make some sense when discussing matters.
As we enter the 13th General Election, Wee Ka Siong is still the Youth Chief, Chew Mei Fun is still the Wanita Chief and of course, Liow Tiong Lai is still the Penang MCA Chief.
We will have a big problem here. We cannot deny that Tiong Lai, Mei Fun and Ka Siong have support in Wanita, Pemuda and the national MCA body.
I believe Najib is worried that the current MCA game plan could affect the MCA election machinery in the 13th General Election, a very crucial one for Barisan Nasional.
And I share his worries.
If you want to chop, chop it all the way. Don't chop half way. If you chop half way, then don't chop.
Sometimes, "do nothing" is a strategic move in a sequential game. The first mover who choose to do nothing might pose a dilemma and a costly one for the sequential mover.
I can be clearer if my "veiled" chopping and strategic game explanation is unclear.

Get the attention of the people through press conferences irrespective of whether what they say are true or not. Secondly, create as much chaos in the party. Spin and twist without any consideration for the party constitution. They have changed their stands many times, just to disagree with OTK. The following are their sandiwara to destabilize the party:- illegal 2nd EGM; disagree with ROS interpretation: agreed and then disagree with GUP; boycotting the briefing of the GUP; illegally appointed LTL as the Deputy President with the help of Datuk Leong; Crying during press conference etc. Please do not be hoodwinked by them. They just want to get sympathy. They have successful in getting the attention of PM and DPM. We simply cannot allow to right the wrong. MCA is not facing any leadership problem. Only about 10 CCMs who happened to be a few MPs and Minister and Deputy Ministers ( Elected during OKT era) who have self vested interests who cannot see eyes to eyes with the President and his team. Please take note that their support has dwindled from 16 to 10 only. Put them in quarantine and MCA will heal faster, to unite and to serve.

But I was surprised that they managed to get such wide publicity in the local media (electronic & printed), and spinning the non-issues into issues --as if 500,000 members from the MCA were oppressed by OTK and/or CSL combined forces....
How come we are so weak in our relations with the media? Did we not "kow-tim" them?
Examine how they spinned the Star-UTAR campus in section 13,PJ, and the second-hand DMU (diesel multiple unit) commuter trains for KTM --all aimed at discrediting OTK....
By the time the clarifications were published, many readers/listeners had already drawn their conclusions based on wrong facts....
Is it because the press are controlled by one "Malaysian Rupert Murdog" who happened to follow his own agendas?

Agreed points of anon 1143. If not stir the shit , no smell too. If we look at PM & DPM side we do understand as a Taiko in BN family , they do have other different sounds either good or bad. The 3 snakes and 3 news media we can not deny their influence to MCA. Is a good time for OTK & CSL work closely together . CSL do victimised by China Press , CSL's main enemy not OTK but Brutus Gang in the MCA President Council. Shu Dai Yu Ku Zi, Zu Dai Yu Har Yi . MCA do cannot avoid to have Har Yi in the family, Zin Kim Pu Pai Hung Lu For , both CDs & members of OTK & CSL work better hard to tell the truth to the public , BN members , they eventually will understand what the present MCA doing is correct and benefit to BN too.

The action of Najib will give an example to other BN components to protect minority even they have betrayed, back-stabbing their leaders . Not even the gang can disrespect majority opinion and decision , by means of media , crying faces or demonstration ,they can hijack the process of DEMOCRACY and RULING in the party . The courage of najib put to wrong side and ignores the view of majority chinese . The EGM1128 is axed forseenable , the last winner belongs to the Brutuses who agitated the unconstitutional meeting and also the aim of Brutus Gang who eventually over right the party presidential council's resolution.

Buddy, if you take this outside for all to judge, people will say we OTK's supporters are hypocrites. It is as though we are implying that whoever is against OTK is an UMNO man.
We cannot imply things like this and it is highly wrong.
Moreover, the line of argument is indeed living on dangerous waters. UMNO is a friend of MCA and MCA is a friend to UMNO. This is one point which we must not forget and one which we must uphold in the spirit of the Barisan Nasional pact.
Again, we can argue why Tiong Lai should back down, his dirty background etc and send him packing.
But we should not carry arguments that make us seem like hypocrites and accuse those against OTK as UMNO men. We will be seen as a no-principled supporters.
This forms the basis of my points.
