Liow still No2 ? Says half past six lawyer

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 10 — Former chairman of MCA’s legal bureau Datuk Leong Tang Chong today claimed that Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai (picture) is still the party deputy president as the Registrar of Societies (RoS) never reinstated Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek to the post.

“The RoS merely said that from the information supplied by Datuk Seri Chua Soi Lek, ‘we are of the view the post of deputy president is not vacant’,” Leong told a press conference showing a copy of the letter from the RoS.

The RoS’ letter was in response to Dr Chua’s request for clarification on his status after he was reinstated as MCA member at the party’s EGM last month.

Dr Chua was earlier suspended from the party by the central committee.

Leong, who now acts as legal adviser to Liow, said the health minister had written to the RoS yesterday asking it to review its decision.

ROS Should refer this half past six lawyer to the BAR COUNCIL for gross misconduct , misinterpreting its letter and trying to hoodwink the public with incorrect information with intention to cheat . Or better still , please take him to court .

MCA hit by SMS miscommunication ploy

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 10 — MCA Information and Communication (Infocom) Bureau chief Senator Heng Seai Kie has condemned imposters masquerading as MCA Infocom members and sending out SMS’s in the name of MCA InfoCom.

She said these pretenders sending SMS urging all central delegates to attend the illegal extraordinary general meeting on Nov 28 and was aimed at inciting chaos and confusion “in order to attain their own political agenda”.

“MCA Infocom will never use its name by sending such messages which can jeopardise the party’s image,” said the deputy information communication and culture minister in a statement here today.

Heng said she always supported the MCA leadership in implementing the Greater Unity Plan in order to reunite and strengthen the party.

She said the SMS had seriously degraded the name and integrity of MCA Infocom and hoped that the central delegates would not be affected by the SMS.

“The controversial SMS was widely circulated among all central delegates and I am saddened that the imposters are using unscrupulous methods to mislead their own party members.

“Under the circumstances, I am trying my best to clarify the rumours in order to protect the image and credibility of the party and to stop the imposters from achieving their aim,” she said. — Bernama

Who said the ROS did not confirm Chua Soi Lek as Deputy President ?

The ROS said that the position was never vacant in response to CSL letter to the ROS and NOT to Liow Tiong Lai 's letter to the ROS .

In replying to CSL that the position was never vacant means that he CSL is STILL the Dep President , NOT Liow .
Ask Liow to send a letter to ROS and see what reply he will get from ROS .

The reply will be Chua Soi Lek is still the Dep President and you are the illegal deputy since the position was never vacant . Using someone else's letter to make a public proclaimation ! What a distardy act .

On the SMS

Fake sms can be sent out using anyone's handphone number or name . I posted a comment giving warning to those who use such underhand tactics in one of my articles prior to the EGM .
We have come to know of one Perak Youth Chief who is into this . All you need to do is contact this service provider and pays them for the service provided and the sms will be sent out using that persons name or organisation . We know who he is and if he's on their side , it's him doing all the dirty work . Fyi this service provider is located overseas .
